@mindofprospect There's a guy waiting in a Car Park somewhere in Ipswich that would disagree with you ?
English

Roy Keane is a bad pundit too but he never gets abuse
Ricardo@rickymniz7771
Eh not really lol she’s objectively a bad pundit😂everyone loves Alex Scott and Shea black
English

Can't we just replace Howard Webb with Eni Aluko and watch the carnage unfold ? #VAR #EniAluko #footballcarnage
English

@Lea_EFC She’s an easy target for cowards like you and everyone on social media, to be honest. It’s easy to follow the crowd and punch someone who has got no one in their corner.
Even criminals implicated in the Epstein files haven’t had this much coverage on the media and hatred from X.

@jonallenpt I must just be imagining that there is far more moaning since VAR came in 🤣
English

Absolute bollocks😂
There’s a reason VAR came in and it’s because we had incorrect decisions every week
People did not accept them - people moaned incessantly
Not they moan about this
Once you realise moaners just like to moan it all becomes clear
Darren Walne@walneyhammer
@SamLee Exactly this, there was a world before VAR that everybody seems to forget. There were mistakes, of course, but far less controversy. Pre-VAR everybody accepts that as a goal, no arguments. In the EFL currently also, nobody questions that

English

Surprised how many people don’t think this. Pre-VAR, that third City goal yesterday probably would’ve stood and nobody in the world would have complained
Criss_Crosssss@Criss_Crossv2
Surprised how many people think the laws of football should be applied on a vibes basis
English

@honigstein For years, before VAR, referees would make mistakes, and apply common sense. There was never even slightly as much discussion about refereeing errors as there is now. VAR has sucked the fun out of football and apparently out of some people also !

@WHUFCGeezer We won't need to win 7 🤦 We probably won't win 5 either however
English

@FabrizioRomano @MatteMoretto Not according to West Ham they aren't ! 🤣
English

🚨🦇 Valencia are closing in on loan deal to sign Guido Rodriguez from West Ham.
Valencia will pay Guido’s salary until June, deal close as @MatteMoretto reports.
It was never done/agreed with Juventus despite reports from Italy; offered to Juve but never advanced.

English

For somebody who's not from this country and probably hadn't heard of West Ham before he came here, he gets it more than most people I've heard speak about the club. @Coufi5 is a massive miss for us right now !

@stuc30 @jackhammo96 @GeronimoMorgans VAR shouldn't have done anything other than check and clear. Your view differs of course but I believe you're in the minority
English

@walneyhammer @jackhammo96 @GeronimoMorgans Don’t need to when Var’s reviewing it. Then when you see the image and understand the actual rules on offside and impact of the jostle with the defender it’s easier to understand. Didn’t help that the fools zooming in and out weren’t logical In methods used..
English

@JacobsBen They didn't need the semi automated offside, or the lines - they simply needed to understand football and check and clear within 30 seconds
English

The VAR review that took over five minutes to disallow Antoine Semenyo's goal against Newcastle in the League Cup semi-final was lengthened due to the Semi-Automated Offside Technology not being available.
This is often down to players blocking the view of the ball or other players for the system’s cameras and results in a manual process of drawing lines.
PGMO are aware lengthy VAR delays cause frustration, but VAR intervention time is now on average under 50 seconds.
The Premier League has the lowest VAR intervention rate in European football and officials are encouraged to avoid forensic examination in order to where possible maintain the referee's call.
