You know, at some point so many things go wrong you pass through the fear of “what if something goes wrong” and into “accepting it will” It’s strangely peaceful here 😂 Nothing phases me. Forgot something? Ok. Mechanical errors and had to deplane? Yep, that tracks.

Any training for teachers should be firmly based in listening and understanding the perspective of autistic pupils in school. It should be coproduced with autistic pupils and teachers not an add on to other training. Coproduction/ listening / acting on that information.

@alexconnerbham Yes coaching for the priviledged. In health courses they are a requirement needed to demonstrate values. In inclusive application institutions supporting access for disadvantaged groups. But it's a single way of demonstrating attitudes. Why not video, or audio too?

I've never understood the point of these statements anyway. They're just another creative writing exercise that can be tutored in private and grammar schools. UK university staff only read students’ personal statements for two minutes theguardian.com/education/2023…
