NEW: Will Roberts, the Alabama boy fighting bone cancer, has arrived in Los Angeles, California, to receive treatment.
Roberts and his family are thanking strangers online for their support through this journey.
"I can’t wait to share all the blessings of God being in our story throughout this journey. This family is one He put in our path," his mother said on Facebook.
"Complete strangers who have opened their home to us and allowed us to land somewhere safe until we can navigate here and find our way……our first appointment is at 12 pm [today], which is 2 Alabama time."
"We continue to be so blessed. We arrived safely, and I know God is with us."

My daughter Brie went to heaven early this morning, ending her long battle with brain cancer. It is an incredibly difficult time for all of us, but the lord did answer our prayers. We had prayed for complete and total healing which she is whole, healthy, and perfect in heaven right now. We had also prayed for a peaceful and quick passing with as little suffering as possible. Please keep the family in your prayers and thank you all for the support during this time.
