@ZacDjellab @Tgarratt10 Glory fans I know are less capable of getting through the lean years-their relationship is transactional based on the expectation of trophies, when for whatever reason they don’t materialise they’re most likely to have toddler meltdowns, rather than see losing as part of the deal.

@YiddoSal @gloryglorytott @antleary Summer window prem proven talent will be Paulinho and RKM’s loans made permanent plus Andy Robertson on a free. Assuming we stay up that is, otherwise we’d have to temper such high ambition.

@gloryglorytott @antleary Top tier prem proven talent is a must this summer. A genuine replacement for Son, Vicario, Romero, VDV, Udogie, Bissouma, Kulu and Richarlison too.

The state of our club has made the rivalry insignificant, remember that next time you tell fans to give managers/players time, that they’ll improve, won’t have as many injuries… all the bullshit I’ve heard whilst getting to where we are The maybe you won’t settle for it either

@gloryglorytott Fans demanded it in the first place, along with players, managers, ex pros and the media - everyone wanted it. The few who warned that it would ruin the game were mocked as dinosaurs (Jon Motson at 2010 World Cup). Sadly too late to put the genie back in the bottle.

The worst thing about VAR is the timeline & the media talking about out all week The decision is made it’s not changing & next time who knows what the decision will be Wolves wanted to get rid of it a while back Everyone else voted to keep it Even fans wanted to keep it

@swspurs A pity West Ham decided it was more important to upset Tottenham fans by letting Arsenal win the league than trying to boost their chances of staying up by beating them. Such a tinpot move.

@ProTottenham The games we've lost are because we’ve played utter dogshit, other teams only had to do the bare minimum to win. The mindset that’s sending us down is the one that doesn’t buy players for an injury ravaged squad in January and keeps a useless failing manager in place far too long.

Facebook post from a Leeds fan Its Leeds, they have no affiliations whatsoever with Tottenham but because the best glitz and glam story for these clubs is to try and contribute to the relegation of Tottenham, this is the sort of mindset we get and have had to face for the last 6 months I hope we absolutely ruin Leeds Monday night

@JimOhSoSpurs Brilliant player, hard as nails without being dirty, dominant in the air, calm on the ball, best cb I’ve seen play for us who isn’t Belgian. But was barely there, his heart was with Rangers and he jumped at the chance to join them after just one season.

As someone who has only known Premier League Spurs. Tell me more about Richard Gough. Seems to be an absolute legend of the club hardly acknowledged by the modern day.... COYS

@tehTrunk Say what you like about ENIC, but putting us in a relegation fight has distracted us from worrying about Arsenal winning the league, about time they got some credit for that.

This isn’t likely to be a popular position, but Arsenal winning whatever they go on to win shows you what a club can achieve when it makes sporting success its primary objective. It actually validates the disdain/hatred felt for ENIC by the majority of the fanbase.

Great win for Spurs but so many matches fell the wrong way. Us or West Ham now. Need an Arsenal win 🤢 against West Ham and win against Leeds. Nothing else really matters.

I don’t blame Villa for resting players ahead of a must win European game. They’ve had a good season and earned the right to do it, not their problem if other teams haven’t. Think people are just annoyed it’s Spurs who have benefitted from it. Nobody would care if it was Fulham.

@portraitinflesh Don’t think there’s any, think it’s both a parody and celebration of lad / football culture that’s done with affection rather than condescension. As a contrast compare it to this which I think is an example of privileged people sneering youtu.be/rY15PLImY3E

Is it just me, or was there a definitely nasty undertone to Fat Les's "Vindaloo"? As in, a bunch of wealthy, middle class guys having a good old sneer at working class culture. Has a totally different vibe than "Three Lions", which, whatever you think of it, was at least sincere.
Batfox Pictures@Batfox_Pictures

Released in June 1998, “Vindaloo” became one of the defining unofficial anthems of the 1998 World Cup. Created by Fat Les, featuring Keith Allen, Blur’s Alex James and Damien Hirst, it reached number two in the UK behind “3 Lions 98” and turned terrace-chant nonsense into a full national singalong.

@melstarsg It will be a numbers game, shutting the top tier could save enough costs to make it more profitable than halving ticket prices. They won’t give the tiniest shit about filling the stadium

My ST works out at over £68 a home match and I had to watch a Thomas Frank team for most of the season. On course to have cost me just under £650 a win. Get the pricing wrong in the summer and they will be shutting stands next season.
Richard Cracknell@MrCracknell

You watch that game tonight and realise just how much the premier league is having everyone's pants down. PSG season ticket from €490 Bayern Munich from around €200 Average premier league season ticket price around €850/900 Double/triple the price for bundle ball

@Don_Falcone2 No, we need cheerleaders on the bench, not kids. Maddison obviously, plus Kulusevski. Then Hoddle, Ossie, the one from Chas and Dave who’s still with us and the bloke who plays Spiderman. It’s all about the vibes.

If i’m Roberto De Zerbi, I’m getting all the attacking top kids we have in the youth team and drafting them in for the last 4 games. Let them be the heroes. We have nobody else on the bench so what have we got to lose? Draft in Mason Melia, Tynan Thompson, James Wilson now

@chrisTHFC13 Every pic of Lange he looks clueless and genuinely bemused as to what he’s doing there. Was his appointment caused by a typo, and he’s just a local government housing officer and there’s currently a brilliant DOF called Johan Pange allocating council houses in Copenhagen?

we can point fingers at the med staff & I’m sure they’re to blame for part of this crisis but never forget how woefully inadequate our transfer windows have always been — the majority of the blame lies on the criminals who refuse to ‘panic buy’ & prefer to wait for injured players to come back… their utter negligence will be what kills us in the end
