It amazes me anyone would think China would be happy to use Nvidia H200 chips while US uses Blackwell B300s Why would China accept an inferior position in AI & subordinate themselves? No, China will invest in R&D to make better chips than Nvidia

@ItsTheEnforcer Nothing’s free in this world. If US stalls on Taiwan, China stalls on Iran. Without the foreign students, schools would go bankrupt. The more important discussions happened with Xi and Trump with Xi’s daughter translating, the really high level honest intentions.

What came out of the China meeting? The US is now stalling on Taiwan weapon package. China is now being allowed to buy land next to US military bases. China is being allowed to send more foreign students to the U.S. Meanwhile, China has given nothing…

“American strength back on the world stage.” Interesting way to describe a visit where Trump left Beijing with fanfare, smiles, and very little substance. Iran? No Chinese commitment. Taiwan? China drew the red line again. Trade? Less than expected. Boeing? Not the giant win markets wanted. The best-looking part of the trip was the ceremony — and that was made in China. Trump got the red carpet. Beijing kept the leverage. That is not American strength returning to the world stage. That is America realizing the stage is no longer theirs.
𝘊𝘰𝘳𝘳𝘪𝘯𝘦@OopsGuess

American strength “back on the world stage”?😅 Interesting way to describe being received on a red carpet built by China, filmed by China, choreographed by China, under a protocol China approved. The video is beautiful. But it doesn’t show America returning to the world stage. It shows China allowing America back into the room. Trump brought CEOs. China brought ceremony. Trump came asking for deals. China gave him flags, music, guards, children, cameras — and red lines. That is not American strength. That is Chinese statecraft making decline look dignified for 59 seconds.

Illegal immigrant who attacked someone in Japan gets deported. Immigrant: “I don’t want to go back!” Immigration officer: “It doesn’t matter. We’re taking you. You’re lucky we even have a plane. We’re taking you no matter what.” Japan is not messing around.

@apshawa_ @HealthRanger Military superiority or number or nukes don’t have much relevance between two countries of similar size. But Trump has very strong hand, and stars are aligned China may bend the knee now that US has projected strength and has leverage.

@HealthRanger "It tells you that Trump has no cards." As of 2026, the U.S. has an estimated 3,700 nuclear warheads in its stockpile, while China's stockpile is estimated at 620 warheads. I'd call that a Royal Flush my friend.

Trump isn't talking down to Xi like he does everyone else. He's actually feigning humility. What does that tell you? It tells you that Trump has no cards. Because if he had cards to play, he would be beating Xi over the head with them. China has all the cards now, and Trump is hoping Xi will voluntarily be nice to the USA, because otherwise we're screwed.
Disclose.tv@disclosetv

NOW - Trump to Xi: "We're going to have a fantastic future together. I have such respect for China. The job you've done. You're a great leader. I say it to everybody. You're a great leader."

EPIC MODE ACTIVATED President Trump stared down Xi Jinping and delivered a masterstroke that left the room in silence: “I brought the 30 most powerful business leaders on the planet to these talks… and they all said yes. I didn’t send the second-in-command or the vice president. I wanted the number one from each empire! Jensen Huang, Tim Cook, Elon Musk, and the other titans… the best in the world are here, right in front of you.” Then, with his winner’s smile, he sealed the deal: “They’re here today to pay respect to you and to China. They come hungry to do business, invest, and create. From our side, it’ll be 100% reciprocal.” The message is clear: America isn’t coming to beg. It’s coming with the supreme bosses of global innovation to lay all the cards on the table. This isn’t normal diplomacy… this is high-voltage diplomacy! - @Jhonffonseca

BREAKING: Iran has delivered its highly anticipated "10-point" response to the US' "15-point peace plan." Iran's 10-point plan includes: 1. Guarantee that Iran will not be attacked again 2. Permanent end to the war, not just a ceasefire 3. End to Israeli strikes in Lebanon 4. Lifting of all US sanctions on Iran 5. End to all regional fighting against Iranian allies 6. In return, Iran would open the Strait of Hormuz 7. Iran would impose a Hormuz fee of $2 million per ship 8. Iran would split these fees with Oman 9. Iran to provide rules for safe passage through Hormuz 10. Iran to use Hormuz fees for reconstruction instead of reparations President Trump's "deadline" for a peace deal with Iran is 25 hours away.

Everyone's focused on reopening Hormuz. Nobody's asking the harder question: what happens after? Iran now knows closing it is a viable weapon. Even if they reopen, they can close it again whenever threatened. The US just handed Iran a permanent veto over the global economy.

The next big question: What is happening in the Bab al-Mandab Strait? Since the Iran war began, the Strait of Hormuz has been the focal point, as it accounts for ~20 million barrels of daily oil supply. On Thursday, Iran's Fars News Agency said Houthis in Yemen and other “resistance groups” may soon join the war against the US and Israel, per WSJ. Not too long ago, Yemen's Houthis, who are backed by Iran, were striking ships in the Red Sea, resulting in a major drop in shipping activity. Currently, ~12% of global seaborne oil passes through Bab al-Mandab, making it the world’s 4th-largest shipping chokepoint. If this passage is closed, another ~6 million barrels of daily oil supply would be halted. Total offline capacity between the two Straits would near 25 million barrels per day, or ~25% of global supply. We have another pivotal week ahead.

A working theory is that a deal was made. You Bring russia back into the fold, allow them to earn top dollar (actual USD) not yuan or rupees (which suck balls) and peel them away from China. Isolate China who has no energy independence. China then is no longer able to circumvent USD for energy.

This is a smart strategy. Thanks to President Trump, the U.S. is energy independent. The countries that actually depend on Gulf oil should apply pressure to reopen the strait.

@WallStreetMav Iran’s objective is to hold control over the strait indefinitely from now on until sanctions are lifted. They have nothing to lose, they were dying anyways. There’s no winning for US unless continuous boots on the ground and complete control over the land, or regime change.
