The craziest thing is people not realizing how bad the pay gap has gotten. In 1973, the average worker made $4.12 an hour - about $28 today. Now the median wage is $23. CEO pay has shot up over 1400% since then, worker pay only 18%. People aren’t poor because they’re lazy. They’re poor because the rich stole the raises that should’ve gone to everyone else.
