@Brad_M2K @warpdotdev I'm curious what you would want to replace with neovim. You can always open files with neovim in Warp. Maybe the code review panel could use neovim instead of our built in editor?

@warpdotdev possible to integrate neovim? you sort have an editor experience and vim bindings mode but would love the ability to jsut integrate with actual neovim so i can bring all feature, plugins, and customization power

@warpdotdev guys, can we get *.deb packages releases a bit faster? Its been 3 days and the version is not updated :( Also, would be nice to have the packages/assets in github release page as well. Thank you for open it, I'm enjoying it so far.

@DonJoeDev @warpdotdev Great to hear! If it makes you feel better, the Linux build issue also stopped the macOS and Windows builds from being released, so you were not alone🤦 We got it fixed at 1am last night though, so I promise we were working hard on it.

@warpdotdev This is great, but please, fix the extremely high memory consumption. Oftentimes I end with Warp consuming 3 Gb of RAM.

@weswinder @warpdotdev Two of the Rust crates in the repo are licensed by the MIT license. These two crates are the UI framework that we use. You are free to use these crates in any way that abides by that license. The rest of the repository is licensed under AGPL.

@warpdotdev when you guys gonna fix this? its can't handle multiple tabs with long sessions and opus 1m context usages. You need to fine tune your app for handling large sessions across tabs. My os specs: M4 Max, 128gb RAM and 8TB storage, whatelse you need :(

@angelolev @petradonka @warpdotdev Hey Angelo, sorry to hear that. I would love to see what the CPU % and Memory usage stats are in those tabs for Warp in the Activity Monitor. That might help point us in the right direction.

since last update of @warpdotdev it is using a lot of battery. Not even 2 hours on my macbook when previously got 5 to 6 hours

@swarmctrl @warpdotdev Would love to hear more about what kind of performance issues you were seeing. Were you also seeing high memory usage? Were you using the Warp agent, other agent CLI (like Claude Code), or no agents? We have recently pushed quite a few performance fixes.

I had to move to #ghostty because now my favorite terminal @warpdotdev it’s been eating stupid amounts of RAM and completely getting frozen my MacBook, which is weird because that has never happened before.

@albertobelleiro @varoonkodithala @warpdotdev Hey Alberto, would you be willing to use the Preview build? It contains a couple of memory performance fixes and telemetry that will send us heap profiles if memory usage grows past 10GB. That could help us debug your issue.

honestly, I love @warpdotdev , but the app is pretty poorly optimized. Every time I do something in it, it just keeps loading. If I switch from one screen to another, it freezes. It’s the same thing all the time, sometimes even when I run a simple command like `bun run dev` it freezes up
