I'm a pilot, and have flown similar aircraft, when I considered air racing as a hobby. Most people don't realize the likely force of wind on her face/eyes when the glass canopy blew off. That wind alone against your eyes (imagine like a motorcycle), would make it very difficult to keep eyes open, to land safely, in addition to the canopy hanging off the side. With an acrobatic plane, the controls make quick movements, and she held on, without a sudden reaction when it flew off. Honestly, she did a great job.

One of my GCs I partner w is a Trump guy. We won a new job that will start next year. I just told him I won’t honor today’s materials’ pricing past January. He asked why. I said tariffs could cause 100% increase in COGS or more. That I would send new pricing in the spring. He said but I have to sign the fixed price contract w them tomorrow! And there you have it! One lesson learned two days too late! Too bad. So sad.

Has anyone else learned the hard way, that if you're filing out a long bit of text in a webform, you should write the text in notepad/word/etc and then copy it in, just in case something happens on the webpage and you lose everything you've written? 😅
