@ringtrick @ComicPerch In the afterlife, or already did so & this guy is trying to get a parting shot now that he's got pearly gates between them, like a Boston terrier barking a pit bull when a fence is between them.

Yes, core facts check out. Iran's IRIS Dena frigate joined India's MILAN 2026 naval exercise (Feb 15-25, Visakhapatnam, 74 nations). Its crew marched in parade reviewed by President Murmu. US warship was slated but withdrew. Ship sailed home; US sub torpedoed it March 4 in int'l waters off Sri Lanka (first US sub torpedo kill since WWII). Pentagon confirmed via video; Hegseth called it "quiet death" on enemy vessel. Sri Lanka Navy took distress call, rescued 32 survivors, recovered 87 bodies. No US rescue reported. Indian sources (ex-Foreign Sec Kanwal Sibal) say MILAN protocol banned ammo—ship defenseless. US treated it as legitimate Iran Navy target amid ongoing conflict. Framing as uniquely "cowardly" is opinion.

An unarmed Iranian ship was invited, along with the U.S., to be part of an Indian Naval exercise, and its sailors paraded on land before the president. The U.S. at the last minute pulled out of the exercise and instead attacked the Iranian ship with a torpedo. Breaking with all norms of civilization and warfare, we then refused to rescue the drowning survivors. The Sri Lanka Navy was left to pull the dead bodies from the water. I am hard pressed to think of any other nation throughout history that would do something so cowardly and despicable. We are genuinely in a league of our own, and American media — mostly shrugging off the bombing of a girls school and acting as if carpet bombing Tehran is a normal military tactic — is deeply complicit.
Kanwal Sibal@KanwalSibal

The Iranian ship will not be where it was if we had not invited it to talk part in our Milan exercise. We were the hosts. I am told that as per protocol for this exercise ships cannot carry any ammunition. It was defenceless. The Iranian naval personnel had paraded before our president . The attack by the US submarine was premeditated as the US was aware of the Iranian ship’s presence in the exercise to which the US navy was invited but withdrew from participation at the last minute, presumably with this operation in mind. The US has ignored India’s sensitivities as the ship was in these waters because of India’s invitation. We are far from politically or militarily responsible for the US attack. Our“responsibility” is at a moral and human plane. A word of condolence by the Indian Navy ( after political clearance) at the loss of lives of those who were our invitees and saluted our president would be in order.

Mike S. Miller - Drawing into the Future
I guess people want to know, I had what seemed a minor stroke on Sunday, got to the hospital with a BP of 242/134, and they got me plugged in and juiced up. The symptoms got worse over the hours, lost strength and control on my left side, and my speech slurred. My right side is fine, so I'll be back to drawing soon. I'm still alive, and I promise I'll recover. Thanks for all your prayers!

To be honest, even I didn’t see this level of suppression coming…and I’m the Kayfabe guy. I wouldn’t have thought this level of make believe posssible for the New York Times. I got that totally wrong. It’s beyond comprehension, even for me. Here are my guesses:
Jonathan Williams@therealjonobo

@ericweinstein Agreed. But why are they suppressing it?

@Suplexesforall @Aaron_Sparrow I used to watch everything. Now, I've not even watched Andor S2, & I have read nothing but good reviews. Think about that... I know it's good, but it's in the "I'll get to it eventually" stage.

I don’t know what line of bullshit this guy is trying to push, but anyone who has been paying attention, or isn’t being willfully disingenuous, would know that Filoni was recognized by the fandom as “The Emperor’s New Clothes” ages ago. The “Filoni + Favreau = good” hasn’t been a thing since shortly after Gina Carano got fired. Five year old @doomcock videos do not currently opinions make. 😂
Jeremy@ManaByte

The "Fandom Menace" is about to pivot, and you need to be ready for the rewrite. If the reports are true and Dave Filoni is finally taking the reins from Kathleen Kennedy, prepare yourselves for the most cynical pivot in the history of YouTube rage bait. For years, these channels have built an entire economy on a simple narrative: Filoni/Favreau = Good vs. Kennedy = Bad. It was an easy sell that printed money. But if Kennedy leaves, their villain evokes into thin air. Peace is bad for business. Outrage pays the rent. So, mark my words: the same channels that hailed Dave Filoni as the "chosen one" are about to rewrite history. They will turn on him overnight. They’ll scour his recent work for "woke" infractions, they’ll claim he’s "sold out," and they will try to gaslight you into forgetting who this man actually is. Here is the reality they will try to erase: Dave Filoni isn’t just a "fan" who got a job. He was George Lucas’s Padawan. This wasn’t a corporate mentorship; it was a years-long masterclass. During the production of The Clone Wars, Filoni stood at George’s right hand every single day. We aren't just talking about directing tips. George imparted a theological understanding of the Force to Dave that isn’t written down in any story bible or wiki. Filoni holds the oral history of Star Wars. He knows why George made certain choices, the spiritual and mythological bedrock of the galaxy, better than anyone alive other than The Maker himself. There is a reason George Lucas trusted Dave with his legacy before he sold the company. He knew Dave understood the heartbeat of Star Wars, not just the laser swords, but the morality, the balance, and the spirit. When the rage baiters start their new narrative, when they try to paint Filoni as "just another Disney suit"; remember that he is the only person left in that building who learned the ways of the Force from The Maker himself. Don't let them rewrite the facts just because they need a new villain to keep the clicks flowing.

@vailingriht @robertliefeld It's so crazy how this falsehood is being propagated when it's so easy to check. Personally, I don't blame the liars as much as those so unwilling to check. It took me maybe a minute to see the # of recent articles covering this scandal (10 days or so ago).

@Aaron_Sparrow Their mistake was opening up the "multiverse." Kills stakes. I hate it in comics, but at least after so many years of stories, it made sense for comics to hit the refresh button (whether I like it or not). MCU did it after about 10 years & a handful of movies. Dumb!

You literally can’t find a single mainstream article about the Minnesota fraud... Not even one... How is it that a simple guy with a camera can uncover over $110,000,000 in fraud in a single day, but giant billion‑dollar media organizations behind the glass doors somehow “miss” it for years? It’s not that they couldn’t find it. It’s that they wouldn’t They are desperate to bury this, protect their ideological allies, and smear anyone who exposes how rotten the system is with “it’s not as bad as it looks” think‑pieces or by turning it into a race‑based narrative to shut people up This is as clear as it gets in broad daylight The story isn’t just the fraud... The story is the massive cover‑up....

🚨 Here is the full 42 minutes of my crew and I exposing Minnesota fraud, this might be my most important work yet. We uncovered over $110,000,000 in ONE day. Like it and share it around like wildfire! Its time to hold these corrupt politicians and fraudsters accountable We ALL work way too hard and pay too much in taxes for this to be happening, the fraud must be stopped.

@douglasernst I would say similarly to worship. I can worship at home, & that should be the norm, but to experience that w/ others in the same moment & place is a transcendental experience much greater than a just experiencing a movie in theater, concert, etc. It adds to the experience.

@douglasernst There is a special-ness to experiencing some entertainment in a collective, which isn't always a theater or a movie. Listening to an album is good. Rocking out in your car is great. Being with thousands of others doing the same at a concert is amazing. It heightens the experience

@jszehr They do have toys, I'm fairly certain, but again - I don't think any child is clamoring for them. Nothing I can recall fits this. I guess it has a 3rd one out, or will be out, but I'm yet to bother w/ #2. I doubt I'll ever bother w/ it.

The Avatar movies should be memorable spectacles that everyone talks about for years, but I don't think there is any average moviegoer that can tell you the intricacies of its plot and mythology. It's truly an empty vessel of a movie franchise.

I watched the second one on streaming, and while I can’t tell you I remember anything about the story other than there were whales, Stephen Lang was back, and there was an annoying kid named Spider who says “bro” almost as much as Vince Russo… I can tell you that I remember thinking maybe I missed out not seeing the visuals on a movie screen.

Nothing to worry about. Normies will go to the theater, pay to see the pretty colors, then leave and not tell anyone they saw it, nor talk about the movie ever again. Just like the last one.

Gary Gygax: … Co-Founded The International Federation of Wargaming … Co-Founded GENCON … Founded the Castle & Crusade Socety … Brought fantasy wargaming, a long time objective of his, into being through the publication of Chainmail Co-Founded TSR Co-Authored, with Dave Arneson, the first commercial RPG, Dungeons & Dragons And went from rags to riches doing so, through hard work, determination and grit. No one then or now can hold a candle to Gary’s accompishments. No one. He created industries and helped maintain them as a writer, deisigner, editor, president but mostly from his love of games and a personal vision he had for them. Peope taking shots at him and his retinue, like myself, long after his passing are simply cowardly rejects who create nothing and influence even less. All of them will pass as dust on the wind while the legacy of Gygax and TSR will endure forever. D&D changed the world; and if not for the larger than life people involved in bringing that about—foremost Gary Gygax & Dave Arneson—we’d today be much poorer creatively, financially and friendship-wise. Crush the do-nothing naysayers by purchasing my memoir when it comes due. In it you will find the truth that extinguishes the hyenas of today who snap and snarl around a real King’s grave.
