@Jihookmox Unbiased One Piece fan giving Luffy a 10/10 . Let me know what Luffy does something as impressive as the Demon Wind shuriken switch or the Chuunin exams finals trick, all of which he did as a kid. Meanwhile Luffy as a young adult almost kills himself by getting his feet stuck

@ClairvoyantEye1 I never watched the anime for that reason. On that note, most adaptations suck. I never watched Naruto or Bleach's anime because the manga was so much better. I think that's changed nowadays like for JKK and CSM for example the adaptation brings so much to the table

There’s no defending the anime if you’re being genuine.
You can find moments and episodes like this where they do great at adding filler and fixing the pacing.
But a majority of the show is objectively terrible with horrendous pacing.
It is a terrible adaption overall and there’s no sugarcoating it

One of the most loved episodes in the series 1015 only adapted 13-14 PAGES and it came out as one of the greatest episodes in the whole series The One Piece animation team extends from the manga all the time, but this not always possible due to time constraints
