Kids in Lululemon store witnessed Grab-n-Go at Fillmore location. “Mom, they just grabbed stuff & put it in a big garbage bag!” Security was present but mostly just to protect customers/employees. Heard this is an organized ring. Those shops, getting victimized A FEW times a day! @SFPD help

I’m moderately proud of where I’m at fitness-wise despite the fact that my professional life fell apart this year. I could’ve let go of my body, but the gym was keeping me sane. After cutting a little bit I can see I actually put on lean mass.
Time to rebuild.

Hayes Valley / Civic Center area is absolutely insane right now. I lived in this neighborhood for 10 years and never saw it this busy.
The roads are bumper to bumper, restaurants are packed, the performing arts garage is literally full.
So much energy on the streets.

I'm back in LA after being away for 27 years. Feb. 15 was my last day as Managing Editor @ KTVU. I left my job & moved back to LA to be w/ my mom & family. My mom has been in & out of the hospital 7 times since last November & it made it really difficult for me to be far away

I moved my 89-year-old mother to a new memory care place today. She spent 5 years at the last one but their annual price increases finally became too much of a financial weight. Now she is nearby us, even closer. Wish us luck in the new place.

i was laid off from @CNN today (and i'm not the only one). i'm devastated; i loved my job. i was CNN's only AI reporter, and the *last remaining* CNN Digital reporter in the San Francisco Bay Area. i'm taking a beat to breathe, but i'll be looking for a new reporting job ASAP.
