Incredible data from @BloombergNEF and team here; an industry we're proud to participate in. LEDs reduce waste heat by 80%+ even versus fluorescent, so commercial adoption of LEDs will also help moderate growth in cooling-related electricity demand.

Total project cost is ~$3/foot. With LL97 in play, these projects reduce OpEx by $0.85 per foot per year (even before maintenance is factored), which at a 5% cap rate creates $17/foot in value for the building. (3/3)

Further to our previous carbon price tweet - $268/ton comes out to about $0.125/KWh. Electricity in Zone J in NYC costs $0.20/KWh. (1/3)
