@mms363818 @TheMindScourge It’s changing a little bit, but soccer is a tough sell in America as a pro sport — individual success is too dependent on the success of those around you, and that makes it hard to consider ahead of baseball, football, and basketball, which are all more isolated.

@TheMindScourge Honestly I think most Americans would care about soccer more if the MLS wasn't such a joke. They only get decent players AFTER they played for 20 years in europe and they just want some ez money and ez soccer and a better lifestyle.

TBF, one could say the same of Brosnan, as GoldenEye is really his only good Bond film. However, Brosnan killed it in the role, and even his bad films were fun.
Craig was a charisma vacuum and his Bond films were boring and gay.

@jordiebarstool The lines are simple and clean for soccer, and it leaves room to decorate the grass itself. You can’t do that with a football field because it’s too busy.

The US built a total of zero stadiums for the 2026 World Cup. In fact, there was nearly zero new infrastructure across the country at all.
Many better stadiums were omitted. Several in this year's Cup are considered second-class facilities and in talks of being knocked down.

This broke my Japanese brain 🧠💥 American college football stadiums hold 100,000 people and it's on national TV. In Japan, college sports exist but nobody's grandma watches them on Sunday. Why is college sports SO huge in America? Genuinely want to understand the hype! 🏈

@ForestHills1903 @GlobalHitman The stadium in OP is 24 years old. As has been noted elsewhere, some of the best ones aren’t even being used right now, like Phoenix, Vegas, or Indianapolis. Even newer ones are going up in Buffalo and Nashville. And those are just the ones with enough skyboxes for FIFA.
