It's not so much that Millennial and Gen X women consciously choose careers over marriage. It's that the choices they make (and are encouraged to make) make marriage less likely. Case in point: moving to D.C., where the men are sociopaths or homosexuals or both.

I’m 46 and have worked in DC for 26 years. During that time, I’ve met and befriended many women in high-level careers. Not one has ever told me she chose her career over marriage. In fact, all of them were trying to find a husband. The idea that Millennial or Gen X women broadly chose careers over marriage—at least anecdotally—just isn’t true.

@vanillaopinions There’s a legislative body and an executive branch in DPRK. They don’t “control” North Korea. Kim Il Sung was as if George Washington, Ben Franklin, JFK, and Rambo were all one person. They’re an extremely beloved family, much like the British royal family.

Trotsky was really funny because he was kinda the biggest ideological flip-flopper ever. One decade, permanent revolution means europe basically leads the world into socialism, and the next decade, it’s actually an anti-colonial theory and totally wasn’t eurocentric at all

@eshaLegal Absolutely wrong. Lenin and Trotsky both agreed that the revolution must be international and that the proletariat must lead the peasantry in overthrowing the bourgeoisie.

Marx' theory: when industrialization advances, the majority ( proletariat) population will be in cities and then they would overthrow the bourgeoisie.
Russia was pre-industrial (2 million proles vs 100 million peasants)
Lenin's theory: Unite with the peasants
Trotsky: have the European proletariat come and help you.
Obviously ,ww1 showed the European proles won't come and help, but that's what he wanted to do.
