That wasn’t supposed to happen.

Dear @JimHansonDC: trump said he would destroy every power plant, and an entire civilization would die. That would be a war crime. The standard is whether the harm to civilians is disproportional/excessive.

It IS NOT a war crime to strike infrastructure used by enemy forces even power plants and bridges. It IS a federal crime to tell military members to disobey orders to conduct those strikes.

@simonateba There is no such thing as “civilian” infrastructure. There is “military” infrastructure, but anything civilan has direct or indirect military applications. Outside of specifically targeting civilians, everything else is a potential military target.
