@GaryHPhillips Volpe is overrated. NY offense will stumble if they drop him into SS position. Cabellero has earned the job. He contributes at the bottom of the lineup, steals bases and does more than Volpe ever did. He hits for avg. Volpe’s a joke.

@FoulTerritoryTV Painfully I agree. I’m a lifelong NYY fan. Judge is a generational player, unique. Mike, NY won’t do it w/Volpe & Wells & an ohfer at 3rd. Giving away too many easy outs. Volpe feels entitled. Always defensive, justifies awful decisions. Wasted Caballero.

So far, I like how the #BlueJays are taking a run at this bullpen game. That's just a rough spot for Fluharty to allow that HR. Between Varland, Domínguez, Hoffman and eventually Yesavage, keep the top arms for the Judge-Bellinger-Stanton pocket of the lineup each trip through.

The Blue Jays don't have a better matchup for Judge than Dominguez, so why use that bullet with no one on and one out in the third? Judge will probably come up in a bigger spot later, and Toronto will have to lean on a less trustworthy pitcher in that moment.

@west78106202 @BrandonTierney I’m tired of hearing “almost there”. “Good at bats”, etc. You can’t be “almost there” in October. At one point NY gave up 4 outs on 5 pitches. Can’t blame 1 player. This was a team job (excluding Hill & Doval who gave the offense a chance).

@BryanHoch The Yankees failed on every front. (Hill & Doval excepted) Bases loaded, no outs with Judge, Bellinger, Rice, Stanton coming up. Bellinger walked. That’s the offense. Weaver & Cruz blew it but NY should have been up. Now they win 3 or go home.
