Great view of prep step being on time & in sync - Expect the ball every pitch - As fast as you can > As fast as you can’t - Controlled speed & Accurate Feeds > Reckless & Out of Control Great reminder of how fast it happens. Do you practice at this speed?

I’ve noticed that the hitters who make good swing decisions during the game, do the same during practice. There’s nothing wrong with being stubborn and taking pitches during BP. If you swing at everything during practice it’s going to be hard to flip the script at 7:00.

PLAYERS: Your body language never whispers. It screams. It shows others what kind of attitude, energy, toughness, focus, unselfishness, and maturity you possess. Bring positive body language to your team.

You don’t control your boss, your coach, your colleagues, your teammates, your team. You control you. Stop complaining about them and using them as an excuse to not bring your best. Own your mindset. Own your actions. Own the way you show up. Be the standard.

Last night a Coach messaged me & said. "Hi Coach, I'm a new High School Coach on year number 2. "I am starting to think Parents just rather see their son play and can careless if the team wins or not as long as their kid is playing. Was wondering have you ever experienced this?"

Seeing a worrying trend unfold in varsity baseball lately. Over the past month, I’ve witnessed an unsettling number of head coaches stepping down, not for typical personal reasons but due to excessive parental interference. Speaking to one of the departing coaches, he confided his preference to resign rather than surrender control of his program to overbearing parents. This raises a crucial question: What’s happened to the core principles of hard work and perseverance in sports? Are we so caught up in our own entitled ambitions that we’re willing to disrupt and potentially ruin these vital developmental experiences for others? It’s high time we take a step back and consider the lessons we’re teaching our young athletes. We must encourage them to embrace challenges and adversity, as these are the very experiences that shape resilient, capable adults. Life is not going to coddle them, and neither should we. Let’s restore integrity and independence to the game and let our coaches coach.
