@beatmastermatt Most people who tell you to fear fascism can't define the word ether... seem we have more of an educational problem. Its like we spent the last 30+years throwing insults instead of finding solutions.

@SECSupremacyCFB Bro cherry picking data to try and prove a point when games have been played between the schools every year and they have even been tiered.. iowa vs tenn played we saw the winner. I know bowl dont count because players dont play.. that effects both teams, 1 still shows up.

SEC Supremacy
SEC Supremacy@SECSupremacyCFB·
LONG POST WARNING: In order to compare the SEC and the Big Ten, I organized the two conferences into Top, Middle, and Bottom Tiers to compare them from top to bottom. I wrote out this whole thing yesterday while going back and forth with a Big Ten fan who was trying to claim the middle of the Big Ten is better than the middle of the SEC. So I decided to push back against those claims by analyzing recent seasons (mostly the last 2 years) and seeing where the conferences actually stand against one another. SEC-------- Top: Georgia Texas Oklahoma Alabama Ole Miss Middle: LSU Texas A&M Tennessee Missouri Vanderbilt Bottom: Florida Auburn South Carolina Mississippi State Arkansas Kentucky Big Ten------ Top: Indiana Ohio State Oregon Michigan USC Washington Middle: Iowa Penn State Illinois Nebraska Minnesota Northwestern Bottom: UCLA Wisconsin Rutgers Michigan State Maryland Purdue Now obviously there are multiple ways to divide this but I think it's fair to split each league into three roughly equal sections. (And there are some potential nitpicks, such as whether Ole Miss belongs in the Top Tier, or whether the last Top spot in the B1G should go to Iowa, Penn State, or Washington. I went with Washington because of recent CFP success, same with Ole Miss). Using these Tiers, I came to two problems for the Big Ten, even while acknowledging that, at the very top (at least the Top OF the Top Tier) Big Ten has had a little more success than the SEC. 1. The Big Ten doesn't have nearly as much movement caused by upward momentum in its Tiers as the SEC. The one standout case is Indiana, which is obviously very impressive, but aside from that, which Big Ten teams have made big leaps ahead in success over the last couple of seasons? Penn State collapsed, but it's not as if anyone improved to move up to that Tier. And who is poised to move up in the near future? Maybe Iowa, Penn State again, mayyybe Nebraska? Contrast this with the SEC, where we've seen over the last few years, Ole Miss has jumped (at least for now) to the Top Tier, and Oklahoma recovered from a slump and took their place in the Top Tier again. Moving from Bottom to Middle, we see Vanderbilt exploding onto the scene and becoming a playoff contender, putting them in the Middle Tier. In the SEC’s future, more upward motion is likely; LSU is likely poised to be a powerhouse under Kiffin, Texas A&M could move up with another good year (obviously moving to the Top Tier would displace another team, but in each Tier you see a group of challengers behind them ready to move up and take their spot, not so much in the Big Ten, yet). Even in the bottom, Florida and Auburn seem ready to try and compete for CFP spots finally with their new coaching hires, putting pressure on the Mid-Tier teams to hold their spots. 2. Looking specifically at the accomplishments of the last few seasons, we see the very Top of the Top Tier of the Big Ten is slightly ahead of the SEC, winning three straight championships. But even going down to the lower end of Tier one, we see problems. Every Top Tier SEC team has made a 12-team CFP, and 4 out 5 have won a game. In the Big Ten, only 3/6 Top Tier teams have made a 12 team playoff. USC and Michigan came closeish once in 2025, though perhaps Michigan gets some benefit of the doubt because they won the last 4 team CFP. In the Middle Tier of each conference, we see the SEC has more accomplishments pretty definitively. The Big Ten has had one team in the Mid-Tier make a 12-CFP (Penn State), and to their point, they won two CFP games in 2024. Aside from them, no other Mid-Tier B1G team has come close to making the CFP. Looking at the SEC, we see that in its middle, we have Tennessee and Texas A&M which both made the CFP once and had a decent year the year they didn't make it in. Vanderbilt had a strong 10-2 season last year with a near-CFP appearance, arguably should've got more consideration. And even for the Mid-Tier SEC teams that didn't make the 12-team CFP: Missouri would've been in the CFP had it been at 12 teams in 2023 (can't say the same for any B1G teams that didn't already make it in) and hasn't had a single bad year in any of the last 3 seasons. LSU, while underperforming lately, is widely considered to be a likely CFP contender in the coming years (not to mention had one of the most dominant teams ever just a few seasons ago). Lastly looking at achievements in the Bottom-Tier, in the 12-team era, none of the Bottom B1G teams have been remotely close to making the CFP, nor have they had any upsets against CFP contending teams. In contrast in the SEC, Arkansas beat Tennessee who made the CFP in 2024, Florida and Kentucky beat Ole Miss in 2024, who very nearly made the CFP, and Florida also upset Texas in 2024, which knocked them just out of CFP contention. This shows that the Bottom Tier of the SEC is competitive with the best teams in the league, and that there is competitive balance Top to Bottom. In addition, while no Bottom B1G teams have come close to CFP contention, South Carolina from the Bottom of the SEC was one of the first teams out in 2024. Imagine if Maryland was a fringe CFP team, that’s roughly an equivalent to what happened with South Carolina in 2024. (Also of the 6 "Bottom" teams in each conference, the SEC has 4 total bowl appearances by that group in the last 2 seasons, compared to the Big Ten with just 1, showing that most Bottom Tier Big Ten teams are seemingly stuck at the very bottom with little to no movement). In summary, while the Top 3ish teams have been better in the Big Ten over the recent few seasons, we can see even just by looking over the last two or three years (which, mind you, is when the B1G has been at it's all time best and the SEC has had a couple of down years) that pretty much everything aside from the very top few teams have had more accomplishments in the SEC. Bowl game results are interesting where we've seen the SEC lose a few of those matchups, but the problem is (and an assumption inherent in my logic thus far) all bowl games have been rather meaningless for determining who is the better team because there are no stakes (many players and coaches simply don't care), rosters are decimated by the transfer portal, and draft-preparation opt-outs (which disproportionately affect SEC teams) cause the biggest difference makers to be off the field for bowl games. The CFP obviously matters more but as we've seen only the very best few teams in the B1G have made it in so we wouldn't see the Big Ten's middle exposed in the CFP. Am I right or am I just crazy? It seems like the Middle and Bottom of the Big Ten have very little to offer competitively compared to the SEC. I didn’t even get into talent composites or draft picks.

Believing in FALSE RELIGIONS or false doctrines that still lead you to do good IS NOT A SIN! Any belief that says different (that you deserve to suffer eternally for wrong but sincere benevolent held beliefs) IS OF THE DEVIL AND AN ABOMINATION!

@s8mb When I first read it I thought only adults got the vote. When people started to talk about kids voting. I realized that the answers people gave was the point. How people saw the situation was more interesting then the question.

Obviously red would be the right button to push, except for the fact that children get to vote privately too. I’m not voting red if there’s a chance my toddler has randomly voted blue. I think that gets you a pretty large and solid vote for blue.
MrBeast@MrBeast

Everyone on earth takes a private vote by pressing a red or blue button. If more than 50% of people press the blue button, everyone survives. If less than 50% of people press the blue button, only people who pressed the red button survive. Which button would you press? BE HONEST.

@MrBeast A great question to show that people are not rational but emotional thinkers. The implication that negative outcomes could happen prevents some from doing what is rational. Red

Per 247 Sports, Penn State 2027 QB target Peter Bourque is now being pursued by Auburn and Ohio State. Virginia Tech and Georgia are also still recruiting Bourque.

@MikeHutloans @BeamerIsKing Grunk wanted a guaranteed starting spot and more money PSU couldn’t promise that. Also James kept firing oc after 2 years to shift blame. Note that the elite staffers he had at PSU didn't follow him or need big promotions to do so.

@weare_firewatch @BeamerIsKing Didn’t the PSU starting qb follow James and become the Hokie starter? How does that fit with your logic? Might have been that new OC that was issue

@weare_firewatch @zach_seyko There’s no point in paying for a HS quarterback who has kept you plan B for over a year now. Grab him out of the portal next year or find a better one.
