Visited the Donore Community Centre for the first time since the June 2021 fire. Genuinely heartbreaking to see such a heavily used building in such rough condition. This picture shows both the heavy damage and strong community history of the site. More pics and info below.

Has Govt had a look at what #wholesalers are charging retailers? Every small biz we talk to is seeing constant increases. For example, 12 litres of @Alpro Coconut Pro recently went up 50% overnight from €28 to €42. These increases can’t be “absorbed” yet Govt want price cuts?

We’re deeply upset about the horrific group attack on a teen schoolboy, a video of which is doing the rounds. Our politicians need to ask themselves why we’ve been allowing hatred and polarisation to grow across Ireland, and if their actions or inaction have played a part. 🧵1/2

My Daughter stood on her little brothers tablet by accident. Lots of tears on both sides. She disappeared for a couple of hours & produced these three canvases, for me to sell to pay for a new one 🥹. Three anon bidders (me) are about to fork out €120 squid to launch her career.

We’ve been in Antakya with Kerem. The people there are incredibly friendly and welcoming. It’s hard to think of them facing this nightmare. It’s often difficult to find the right way to help in these situations. With this in mind, Kerem has put together a list of reputable NGOs.
