Watching Smoothie .com go up 50% overnight is nice, but honestly that’s not what gets me excited. What I love is finding assets that aren’t highly correlated to everything else. I’ve spent the better part of 25 years around domains, and one lesson keeps repeating itself. People always underestimate the infrastructure layer. They obsess over the latest application, the latest social network, the latest AI model. A decade later those come and go, but the underlying rails keep getting more valuable. History is full of examples. The people buying railroad rights looked crazy until everyone needed the railroad. The people buying spectrum looked crazy until wireless became the world. Fiber. Data centers. Domain names. Every generation dismisses the foundation because it’s not flashy. Then one day everyone realizes they can’t build without it. This is also why I love bear markets. Bear markets have a way of exposing what was real and what was just momentum. The noise disappears. The tourists leave. The builders stay. Capital gets disciplined again. You stop hearing about overnight riches and start hearing from the people quietly building businesses that will still matter 10 or 20 years from now. Maybe that’s why Buffett’s line has always resonated with me. The stock market is a device for transferring money from the impatient to the patient. I’d extend that beyond stocks. It applies to almost every durable asset class. Names have been at the center of the Internet for the last 30 years. If AI brings billions of agents, services and identities online, I don’t think names become less important. I think they become even more important. History rarely rewards the loudest people in the room. It usually rewards the people who were willing to look decades ahead while everyone else was looking at this week’s chart.

The future of finance is being built on Ethereum, and Robinhood is just the first of many success stories to come. Once the market flips bullish on ETH, all the fundamentals are already in place to sustain the momentum. Institutional adoption, stablecoins, tokenization, staking, and scalable infrastructure are all moving in the same direction. No other digital asset comes even close.

Domain Appraisals are hard. We spent a lot of time tuning ours. As of today, domains without market price are now included as part of our NAV using Doma appraisal engine.
