In the real world, there is not a single tech startup that would raise a first round and have founders directly pocket money instead of taking salaries. If projects do this, it’s pretty clear imo that they aren’t thinking about their project as a long term ongoing business.

royalties on secondary market transactions is the backbone of a whole set of business models with better incentive alignment. it’s what artists were sold on when they came into web3. moving away from that generates uncertainty again. maintain the social contract.
