Hey @webosports #webos and #luneOS community. I have a question: has anyone tried to install the LuneOS port of #redminote4x or #miA1 on compatible hardware (#SD625). I have a Mi A2 lite that I would love flashing.

@webosports it’s been like 2 years since you all tweeted anything. Is the project considered dead?

@petroweaver @GoldenDonut13 @dirtyvegas @GerryMcBride @LuneOS_Ports There are actually a lot of things going on behind the screens and we're publishing some testing images now and then via GitHub (github.com/webOS-ports/lu…) Once the remaining regressions have been solved we'll push out new images for all targets!

Anyone happen to have access to #webOS #HPTouchpad (tenderloin) schematics? We're looking at getting the mainline kernel running on the Touchpad and these would be of great help!

@webOSArchive It will help a bit, we already had these. They should be 90 or so % identical we expect, but having the proper one would help for sure :)

@penk Basically using a modified WAM and LG's Chromium 91 from github.com/webosose/wam and github.com/webosose/chrom… with some tweaks to keep legacy webOS (Enyo 1.0/2.0) compatibility

It's been quiet from our end for a while, but we have been very busy! We're still working very hard to make #LuneOS (#webOS based) a fully open-source OS daily driver! What have we been up to? #Qt6 migration, replacing QtWebEngine with LG's Chromium, Waydroid & more! Stay tuned!

@zer0sig We've been around since HP open sourced webOS as Open webOS in 2012. We're here for the long run! Now we are in the process of integrating a lot of the changes made to webOS under LG's helm and that was released as webOS OSE!

@webosports I just got my pinephone and found a multiboot image that contqined LuneOS - I had never seen it before and was stoked to see WebOS design and some apps on it If you folks are going to stick to it for a while, I'd like to help with bugtesting Thanks! Love my Touchpad and Palm!

@TonyMac_32 @thepine64 Not yet, but it's in the plan once they become available again. Getting it to work shouldn't be rocket science seeing the variety of devices we can already support.

Glad to see @thepine64 mobile devices getting attention, it's a shame it took 11 years after Palm WebOS for people to finally care that a device runs Linux... @webosports I need to catch up with you folks, did you get a pinetab?

@gabodotcv @webos_ose Yes, we're half way there in migrating webOS OSE into LuneOS. To replace the legacy Open webOS components that were open sourced by HP back in 2012/2013.

@patrickjmq Should be back up. The infrastructure team is doing quite some upgrades recently which sometimes results in some downtime.

@Deedend It should be back up now. The networks & server team is doing quite some infrastructure maintenance and restructuring in the past months, so there are some outages here and there.
