JP Morgan executive accused of turning her employee into an “office sex slave.” She allegedly forced the employee to suck her toes and have sex with her if he wanted to a promotion. JP Morgan is sticking with the executive, saying there isn’t evidence to support the claims and that the employee didn’t cooperate properly when asked.

@junkbondanalyst I know her well - she was my VP when i was AN on the desk. Maybe the nicest person in the building and a genuinely great person. I’m certain this is an extortion attempt by an underperforming employee who left

I’m waiting for a real news publication to pick up this story, but what’s come out on JPMorgan executive Lorna Hajdini and the alleged sexual assault lawsuit sounds beyond insane. Anyone in the leveraged finance world hearing anything?

A JPMorgan executive allegedly used her power to sexually harass and abuse a junior male employee - drugging him, subjecting him to racial abuse and threatening his career when he refused her advances, according to a lawsuit. Lorna Hajdini, 37, an executive director in JPMorgan Chase’s Leveraged Finance division, is accused in the filing of coercing a married banker into ‘non-consensual and humiliating sex acts’ over months, despite his pleas for her to stop. Her accuser claims she admitted to drugging him with the date rape drug 'roofies' on multiple occasions and, during one encounter, berated him as he cried while she performed a sex act on him against his will.  Why do I believe this ?

I'm going to call B.S. on this. If for no other reason that JPM was the most joyless place I've ever worked, largely populated by one-dimensional robots on short leashes, afraid of their own shadows, while at the same time maintaining that "this is what elite looks like."

@AyyouEm @sega_geneziz And covenant packages in private credit are tighter (although admittedly loosening over time). If you stick with a legit manager then these fears are overblown. Obv avoid shit guys who did overly stupid things to deploy capital

@AyyouEm @sega_geneziz This is a bad take, sorry. Def some credits like this out there but only after going bad (just like a CCC downgraded BSL..). Having worked at both a large LF desk and UW at a very experienced, large private credit fund, the UW standards in BSL world are generally worse

Funny to see all the 20-something PC defender bozos parroting the exact same thing on structure (A/L matched! capped redemptions good! etc..) while ignoring the ENTIRE point: The underwriting. TRILLIONS deployed in a food fight to the trashiest credits they could source.
