@2Shoesy @xAviation the roll after the stall leaves them pointing at the ground, they gain a ton of airspeed as soon as the stall breaks. speedbrakes help prevent overspeed (which still happens during the recovery)

@xAviation Why deploy speed brakes? If the wings are stalled wouldn't you want them to produce lift asap? Airspeed is already low.

During a test flight over the Pacific off the coast of California, a Boeing 717 entered an intentional stall and rolled inverted.
The maneuver was unplanned, but the test crew responded immediately, regaining control by reducing engine thrust and deploying speed brakes, ultimately recovering the aircraft.

@177868_4_7143 @Billzilla5 @xAviation m8 the wing unstalls as soon as they're pointing at the ground, of course the ailerons work, there's no flat spin condition here - you can see it in the video as soon as there's brown over blue the roll of the aircraft follows the yoke input

I know they can't because you have to be allowed to vote on election day but it would make way more sense to close it like 2 days before that and then count on election day when it's all in
