@welshjon58 @CharlotteCGill I am a volunteer, I receive no payment, our charity has two part time members of staff who receive a basic salary, the rest are all volunteers, totally unpaid.

There are 171,093 registered charities in England and Wales. It's simply too many.

@CharlotteCGill I volunteer for a small local charity run by volunteers. We struggle to get funding as we have to compete with those who have fundraising departments . We are excluded from applying for many grants as our income (£5000 in a good year) is too low!!!

@freetrade Don’t recommend anyone using free trade. The fees are insane especially if you are trading US stocks and have a decent sized account. Also huge charge if you want to move away from them
