The heroes of the Second Chimurenga fought for us to govern ourselves. They fought for the right to VOTE, and that right remains intact every time you choose your local councilor and MP. Don't let detractors twist the narrative, our democracy is strong, mature, and focused on peace. ✊🇿🇼 #LiberationLegacy #Patriotism #ZimbabweFirst

Clause 3 changes how the President is chosen by shifting the vote entirely into Parliament. Instead of the general public voting in a nationwide election, members of Parliament will vote to elect the President. Here is how the process works under this clause: The Winning Condition: A candidate must win an absolute majority (more than 50%) of the parliamentary votes to win. The Backup Plan: If no single candidate gets a majority, a run-off election is held between the top candidates until someone wins. The Supervision: The Zimbabwe Electoral Commission (ZEC) oversees the vote to keep it fair and transparent, following Parliament's official rules. In short, it moves the presidential election from the public ballot box to a parliamentary vote. #CA3 zvaendwaaa!!!
