@wesleymellott I am now cursed to wander the wasteland in search of someone with an old computer and FCP7 in hopes of converting files lol

when you finally get rid of your old iMac only to find out the new Final Cut Pro cannot open old FCP7 files and the only way to convert them to either FCP or Premiere is to export an XML from FCP7 which cannot run on a new MacBook Pro but could run on, say, an old iMac

Crazy to think this represents two years of my life. Onto the next one!

ALSO before I recycled my old computer I exported a .mov of an old project I’ve been working on for years and years and somehow rather than exporting it to the external hard drive I exported it to the desktop…of the old iMac…that I recycled
