In May, Walz signed a bill banning junk fees. “I think just giving transparency, giving some honesty about how these things are done, lets people make better-informed decisions, which is better for their bottom line,” he said. minnesotareformer.com/2024/05/20/gov…

Last year, Walz signed a law enacting paid family and medical leave, giving workers up to 20 weeks off. “Paid family and medical leave seemed like a pipe dream for 10 years,” he said. “It seemed like—why can other people have this and we can’t?” apnews.com/article/minnes…

If you're celebrating the holiday today with a few adult beverages, keep in mind some of these damage-mitigation strategies. 1) Have your last drink >4 hours before bed. 2) Consider supplementing with magnesium glycinate before bed (alcohol increases magnesium excretion). 3) Don't drink on an empty stomach. 4) Stay hydrated & supplement with electrolytes. 5) Supplementing with N-acetyl cysteine (NAC), liposomal glutathione, and/or sulforaphane may reduce hangover severity. 6) Supplement with a micronutrient-rich multivitamin to replenish your body's micronutrient stores. Vitamin B3 & zinc, in particular, are crucial for helping your body convert alcohol into less harmful metabolites. Note that there isn't much evidence to support any of these "hangover cures" and the best option is to avoid drinking to excess or not drink at all. For those fortunate to celebrate Thanksgiving w/family & friends, enjoy! Also, perhaps say a prayer & consider sharing the abundance in your life w/those who are away from family and/or alone this holiday: the houseless, ill, students & any who can’t afford to travel… etc.

I desperately need a new laptop. Any specific recommendations? PC only. Don't care about gaming or screen graphics, just need to maximize work productivity, multitasking, screen recoding, etc. My Dell latitude 7420 is driving me insane. Thanks!
