I love March Madness because I always learn about a new school. Never heard of Siena University in my life

What’s happening among Colorado Dems w/ @daveweigel: Sen. John Hickenlooper and Rep. Diana DeGette, will face primary challengers who got more support from delegates at local party conventions last week. semafor.com/newsletter/03/…

the kat abughazaleh carpetbagger people make me feel crazy because she lives in the city, i would feel much more represented by someone who actually lives in chicago vs someone from out in the suburbs even if they’re technically in my district

@umichvoter Primary Warren time

@somenicegu40831 I’m critical of kat Abu ghraib but she was better than the ziodonkey who won

the illinois IL09 race has left the political careers of both kat and bushra dead in the water. bushra should've dropped out and kat should've looked at her own policies page. deeply embarrassing all around

Color me shocked that the Very Online Candidate with no experience and no real campaign strategy beyond "get likes on the internet" ended up losing a Democratic primary to the incumbent mayor of Evanston, Illinois.

I kind of think Abughazaleh did very *well* when you consider her very weak actual ties to the district; she really did conjure a viable candidacy out of basically nothing.

Abughazaleh is getting crushed in the Cook and Lake County suburbs. Evidence that Mamdani style leftism only has purchase in deep-blue cities and college towns.

Let me just say this… If you want real progressives in any seat, pick the progressive with actual receipts of making progress happen. Also make sure that person has some relevance within the community, they’re trying to represent. Not some implant who’s barely been there.

Beshear is correct, and very few people still talk about how much of an utter piece of garbage Hillbilly Elegy is
