@rmc031 @MattBruenig @EricLevitz But that doesn’t make sense does it? If 3 percent is 2000 that implies each teacher was making 66k. If 8 percent is 10,000 that implies each teacher was making $125k. I assume teacher salaries didn’t increase that much in four years.

@rw_briggs @mindyisser The 28.6 number seems to be misquoted from the study. 28.6 is the number of *novice* teachers who leave that year; the number of district teachers who leave after 2022 is 12.5%. (Which is still bad!)
