I had a great time walking the streets alongside Grand Marshal Dan Hilferty, and seeing you all at the St. Patrick’s Day Parade today in our great City. We were proud to host the Taoiseach of Ireland, @MichealMartinTD, to the second oldest parade in the United States of any kind — starting in 1771 with over 250 years of continuous celebrations of St. Patrick’s Day in Philadelphia! I wish you all a happy, safe, and healthy St. Patrick’s Day this Tuesday. #OnePhilly ☘️

The One Philly Pothole Squad from @StreetsPhila will be a dedicated year-round maintenance crew across the city. This means new positions, new equipment, and new tools to repair our roadways. Look out for our crews, give them space, and please report any roadway damage to 311.

As part of our One Philly, One Future budget we celebrated a commitment of more than $9 million to support the continued restoration of Cobbs Creek Golf Course and the surrounding watershed. This investment will rebuild the floodplain, and in the process, create 15 acres of new wetlands, and plant more than 49,000 native trees, woody plants, and perennial plants across 37 acres. @cobbscreekfnd is focused on much more than just golf — Their vision for an inclusive education campus will create opportunities for young people and families who may never have had access, while promoting economic and environmental SUSTAINABILITY. This is all a part of my vision for Philadelphia - A Safer, Cleaner, Greener City with Access to Economic Opportunity for All. #PHLBudget

• Work will begin in Philly and progress south over the course of the project. • Amtrak will instruct all crews to minimize idling, maintain safe pedestrian pathways, and utilize directional lighting whenever feasible. • Amtrak will coordinate with local police and fire depts

• The outages will be continuous, with the majority of work being overnight. • Residents should expect nighttime noise, odors, and lighting, as crews will be on site from approx 10:00 p.m. to 5:00 a.m. • Crews will park in nearby neighborhoods and walk to their work locations.

🔔Upcoming track outage alert from our partners at @Amtrak: @AmtrakNECAlerts infrastructure work is scheduled from 3/30/26 through 10/19/26. It will require continuous track outages between Philadelphia and the Baldwin Interlocking, impacting parts of S. Philadelphia and Delco.

Last week we proposed more than a budget. We proposed an economic agenda for the people. A plan to make Philadelphia safer, cleaner, and greener.
