’ve heard these stories so many times from others… but today it was me. Parked in a disabled bay, Blue Badge up, got my stick out the boot— and heard “look at the PIP stick.” What hit even harder? They were parked in the disabled bay too. This is exactly what happens when society pushes the idea that disability has to look a certain way. People start policing each other—even within our own community. Conditions like Multiple Sclerosis don’t fit into neat little boxes. Some days I need a stick. Some days I don’t.
