@cj3636282847483 @drghadasasa The real stewards of the land would never try to destroy seed banks, like the occupiers IOF and RSF of Sudan have tried to do

English

@drghadasasa This seems dumb. These were fast growing trees that solved immedoate problems of water retention and malarial swamps. That they are dying now does not mean it wasn’t the right decision at the time, and you have to be a complete hack to think you were better stewards of the land.

12 hours of nonstop volunteering in the hospital.
All to bring the X-ray back to life so patients can use it again tomorrow.
One meal.
I have one humble request:
while I give all my time to keeping the hospital running, could you please help my family with a donation? 🤍
13 people are depending on this support.

New Double Bill from @EmpirePodUK
A DEADLY QUADRANGLE:
ISRAEL & THE US; IRAN & LEBANON
Two brilliant women guide us through the complexities of contemporary Middle Eastern history
With @KimGhattas & Christiane @amanpour

English

First up:
Lebanon & Israel: Fifty Years As A Battleground
With the wonderful @KimGhattas
Lebanese historian and author of Black Wave, Kim Ghattas, joins William to discuss the historical view of the current attacks on Lebanon. How was the Lebanon’s map drawn by European powers after the collapse of the Ottoman Empire? What is the long history behind the current Israeli strikes on Lebanon? Why did Israel & the US sell weapons to Iran in the 1980s? What happened the last time Israel invaded Lebanon?

English

@DalrympleWill Why would you feature the propagandist Kim Ghattas who acts like Saudi Arabia acts completely independently of the us and lies about HezB0llah
x.com/louis_allday/s…
Louis Allday@Louis_Allday
People like Kim Ghattas are blatant propagandists who openly lie to our faces again and again and again.

This is nothing short of war propaganda. If you dig in to the report you will see that it’s actually a civilian recruitment programme to help with things like cooking, medical care and damaged homes. There is no evidence presented by HRW to suggest this campaign seeks to recruit combatants.
The consistent role played by some Western Human rights organisations in providing moral pretexts for bombing countries in the global south doesn’t get nearly the amount of scrutiny it should.

Human Rights Watch@hrw
NEW: Iran’s Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps is conducting a campaign to recruit children as young as 12 to volunteer to become “homeland defending combatants.” The military recruitment and use of children is a grave violation of children’s rights and a war crime when the children are under 15.

@BreeNewsome @Forever_noir_ It’s been trending for a while on Insta and threads via an influencer who got paid just under ~$400k by CBCPAC. Her yt lib followers accused Black leftists who spoke about socialism of being anti-Black, wanting Black women to work for free, misogynoir, and pocket watching
English

@BurnsBurnsyxw @KweenInYellow @mehdirhasan Francis Boyle worked for Amnesty Intl and in his article, he says he tried to amplify izrli war crimes on Lebanon in the 1980s, he was silenced. Also Told his bosses not to publish “Saddam unplugged 30 preemie babies” bc it was clear atrocity propaganda, and they did anyway…

English

@KweenInYellow @mehdirhasan Amnesty has a good record of documenting Israeli human rights abuses. Its reports on the Gaza assaults of 2008 and 2014 are important references. It doesn’t not label wars themselves illegal or “take sides” to my knowledge but focuses on conduct within conflicts.
English

@rajk1000 @clashreport Rhodesia had no right to exist. French algeria had no right to exist. German owned Namibia, where germans are 6% of Namibia and yet own 70% of Namibia’s land, has no right to exist. British India had no right to exist. And so on.
English

@clashreport Superb: YES Israel DOES have a right to exist. But so DOES Palestine! And why, as ticker said, does Israel NOT respect OTHER countries borders and their rights to exist too! These rights should be UNIVERSAL not only for ONE country. ESPECIALLY when they took someone else’s land!
English

@Liberation_Blk It was very disappointing, but honestly what I’ve come to expect from many academics I encounter on social media when they’re challenged…
English

@Liberation_Blk Saw a post that said similarly. A man named Chris Fici commented anyone who said this was being an “Islamist apologist” ?? I asked him to explain so he told me to look up James Cone, understand he has been Cone’s TA and I was obviously not enough on his level to merit a response
English

@tenyearsnow He shouldn't have done it but 15 years of hard labor for taking a poster is too far
English

@JeanneAllen @MrDanielBuck If that were true wouldn’t these countries with highest 1st time parent age have the worst records of potty training?
I’m sure a mutated neurovascular virus that showed up ~6 yrs ago + disproportionately impacts vulnerable populations like kids and elderly couldn’t be at play 🙃

English

I have a hunch that if we looked at the ages of most parents this applies to, they would be the parents who start much older, and who have already set their own schedules and preferences that they don’t have time or patience to start from the beginning and learn to train their own children. They are also the ones who get every new gadget. Sad.

@TonyDotX An account located in India took her old username. Haven’t you seen this happen before?
If you search “elizrael” you can probably see some results of people @-ing her under that old username like this one, like this one from her sister jns.org/sister-of-abdu…

English

@Partisangirl @LizHurra That can't possibly be true.
Both accounts have only had 1 username change.
The current Elizrael has had the handle since Nov 2025
LizHurra change her username in Feb 2026.
That would mean they shared the same username from Nov 2025 - Feb 2026.
You're lying as usual.

@johngalt_shrugs @Bin3li92 @dcapture11 @Elad_Si “If i decide my neighbor’s lans is mine, can I just kill him and take his land?” Even West Point manuals describe H*zbollah and H*m*s as anti occupation, existing bc this was done exactly to them by the “izrlis” and the us

English

@Bin3li92 @dcapture11 @Elad_Si "Arab lands," lol, what the fuck is that supposed to mean? Is that something you made up to justify the relentless attacks on Israel from Hamas and Iran's proxies?
If I decide that my neighbor's land should be my land, can I kill him and take his land? Fucking psychos.
English

I interviewed two Israeli Air Force pilots who are part of the operation in Iran. When I asked what it felt like to enter Iranian airspace for the first time, one of them said:
“You find yourself thinking, what do these people, so far away from us, actually want from us? They have a huge and beautiful country. Right now full of snow and lakes. Truly a very, very beautiful place. What do they want from us, this small piece of land? It’s such a strange feeling.”

I don’t know how to describe this feeling.
But what we are going through in Gaza right now — this suspension of our fate — makes everything feel unbearable.
How is it possible that the fate of more than two million people is hanging in neglect, as we struggle through a slow death?
I’m not talking about global solidarity.
I’m talking about the current stage — the ceasefire agreement and how we have been stuck for months in its first phase, with no progress and no real attention, especially when it comes to improving people’s daily lives.
More than half of Gaza is still occupied and under the control of the occupation, with no clear horizon or timeline for withdrawal.
Most people are living in tents, and no one seems concerned about allowing even the simplest things in — like caravans that could preserve people’s dignity and provide basic shelter.
The crossing is closed for travel. Even if you are sick and fighting death, you have no chance to leave for treatment.
And there is constant pressure and suffocation, not to mention the daily bombardment and endless violations.
The stories people carry and the realities we hear every day are incredibly difficult — beyond description, beyond documentation. No one sees them the way we see them.
So please, do not forget Gaza.
Do not ever forget Gaza.
English

@Fred_Blurst @BreeNewsome ny war crimes has been compromised for a long time and If you don’t see it by now you may never get it

English

@BreeNewsome There is no such singular thing as “US corporate news media”. You’re gonna have to be more specific about what the hell you’re even talking about. Plenty of mainstream outlets are still doing good work, like NYT and others showing proof that a US tomahawk hit the girls school
