I worked the Casey Putsch campaign from Christmas Eve until the end of February, as the SE Director. I had my reasons for leaving, most I cannot speak of. But that didn't matter when I cast my ballot today. I voted Putsch, not because I believe he's a perfect guy or that he'll win (I'd love to eat crow but I'd bet the house). It was because he was a White, middle class, Christian, far-right guy. We cannot and will not survive the term of a hindu (vivek) or a jew (Acton). We will be flooded with third-worlders or flooded with gay race communism. But if Casey gets 25% of the vote, that's 25% of Republicans who were willing to vote for mass remigration, ending H1Bs, and returning to a time when America was full of heritage Americans. I didn’t oppose Indiana R’s taking an off ramp, especially since Maryland stuck to their end of the deal. Once Virginia escalated massively (with huge $$$ support from the national party), de-escalation/disarmament became totally untenable for many GOP voters. I’d love to see mutual deescalation. But post-VRA decision, and with 2030 census looming, not sure it’ll be happening soon.
