Just got the following from a source close to the negotiations: - Trump's deal will include Iran charging a toll at the Strait of Hormuz, but they'll call it something else (legal gymnastics - UNCLOS Article 26) - The U.S. will unfreeze assets, or commit to doing so (still being negotiated) - The war in Lebanon will likely stop (despite Netanyahu not accepting) Nothing is 100% confirmed yet. Both sides are debating the unfreezing of assets, and Netanyahu is facing significant domestic pressure to keep the war in Lebanon going

I want to reiterate. As I testified to Congress, In my 23 year IT career I managed over 3k H1Bs. Of the 3K there were maybe 15 to 20 that were qualified. Everyone else were "freshers" and their English efficiency was 10% or less. You could not put them in front of the client. If President Trump agrees to a 60-day ceasefire extension based on vague Iranian promises to “discuss” nuclear issues, it’s game over. That pushes the crisis into late July or early August, when major military operations become far less likely ahead of the midterms.
Once the military leverage disappears, meaningful nuclear concessions disappear with it. Ballistic missile restrictions will be nonexistent. Iran will get billions in sanctions relief—while repeatedly using Hormuz as a tool of blackmail.
Tehran will have won at the negotiating table what it lost on the battlefield.

The terms: open the Strait of Hormuz, but only in exchange for US compensation. And sanctions plus frozen funds get discussed before anything is signed.
That's an invoice, not a peace offer.
Trump is sitting in Washington this weekend ready to strike. Iran is asking to get paid first. Pakistan is flying back and forth as the middleman. And somewhere in that gap is either a deal or a war.
Iran wants only its "legitimate legal rights," but trusts Washington about as far as it can throw it.
The Strait stays closed until someone blinks.

BREAKING: The US and Iran are closing in on a deal that would extend their ceasefire by 60 days and lay the framework for discussions on Iran's nuclear program, mediators say.
Details include:
1. This would include a "gradual reopening" of the Strait of Hormuz
2. It would also include a commitment to discussing the "diluting or handing over" of Iran's highly enrich uranium
3. The US would ease its blockade of the Strait of Hormuz and agree to sanctions relief
4. The US would also begin a phased unfreezing of Iran's assets
Both sides are nearing a "memorandum of understanding" to extend a ceasefire.
