🚜 📆 March 24, 2025 was declared Women in Ag Day in Minnesota! This special day honors the contributions, impact and resilience of MN women in ag. Yesterday, women farmers and ag leaders from across the state shared their experiences with policymakers at the Minnesota Capitol.

Yesterday, Extension staff and supporters and @MN4H youth spent a day at the Minnesota State Capitol sharing the value of Extension/4-H in their local communities with their legislators and @GovTimWalz. #UMNProud #MNAg

Education and research are foundations of agriculture. Today a delegation from @UMNExt @MN4H visited the Capitol to speak with @GovTimWalz and Commissioner @ThommyPetersen and talk about the important work that they do to support MN agriculture. #mnag

Great to visit with 4Hers including Owen Johnson from my home county Pine today at the Capitol as part of @UMNExt day at the Capitol! I was a proud member of the Chanhostlers 4H club when I was his age! 🍀

It was great to catch up with @ThommyPetersen and other #MNAgExpo25 attendees and to talk climate smart ag practices with @MNSoybean's Joe Smentek!

Today in Mankato for @mncorn & @MNSoyGrowers Ag Expo, great to visit with farmers & vendors from all over state including @UMNExt ! Probably biggest I’ve seen I many years.

MDA staff and private partners in the Minnesota Agricultural Water Quality Certification Program's Climate Smart Farms Project accepted a 2024 Minnesota Climate Adaptation Award Monday night from @CFANS and @UMNExt @UMNClimate program. #MAWQCP ➡️ mylandmylegacy.com #MNAg

The MN Ag Quality Certification Program has awarded 500 endorsements, on top of 10-yr certification, to farmers across the state. Producers are going above and beyond to implement conservation practices. We congratulate all of them! #MAWQCP ow.ly/YFqh50RyCnJ

Today, @USDA unveiled a new online Livestock Indemnity Program Decision Tool and farm loan resources hub in partnership with @farm_raise. The hub includes how-to videos, visual aids, and more, all designed to streamline access to vital FSA programs: bit.ly/3JnFOUQ
