@whyamIhere2k Yeah. The Age of the Stars is the one ending that really acknowledges that the world has to move on. Also, it might be the closest to Marika's own endgame, which is a neat twist. At least it's a peaceful end for her.

Elden Ring does a terrific job at deconstructing divinity and religious violence; Marika is a mystery, part tyrant, part genocidaire, part schemer, and so on, but in the DLC you learn about how she's also a victim, a prisoner and originally, an innocent.

I really feel like Shaman Village changed my whole perception of the game. We've constantly learned of Queen Marika's tyrannity, violence and obsessions, but for the first time we see a display of pure radiant love. She was just a girl who lost everything.

It’s incredibly difficult to create an FPS protagonist who talks nonstop throughout the game without getting on your nerves—I’ve hardly ever seen one. If you can’t pull it off, it’s better to just have him stay silent, because players will provide their own voice acting anyway.

"Shikata ga nai" does not even include a root that means "help". This is beyond a misconception.

@whyamIhere2k @MinModulation Don't remove mentions of men and women being things that exist and may have differences. Don't remove mentions of female characters being physically attractive. If a character implies crossdressing is weird, don't remove that or "soften" it.
