Visited @vcfederation in Montreal today. So many amazing computers to see and interesting presentations as well.

@Pinecone_64 Glad you enjoy it. I'm trying to add a lot more for the random feature as so many pages have died. Recovered a bunch of geocities sites for it last night also.

Started hosting hundreds of old web pages on an unofficial domain for archival purposes, will add more to it over time. Many gems to bring back. They were submitted to Wiby over the years and I hate to lose them.

Thousands of dead pages over the years. Many of them pure gold lost to time. Cant rely on archives. Going to have to host them myself.

@WiDxEjmnsGdA8V3 It is very much a human effort. Wiby relies on anonymous people to submit pages that meet the criteria. Hyperlinks on those pages are also crawled periodically but I don't let the crawler stray too far away.

Noticed the Copilot icon on my task bar and tried making some AI art.

@MarginaliaNu For me it was very important that they had the secret password button for my memos.

@wibyweb Oh man that jiggled loose a few memories. I had one of those as a kid, used to play with it a ton. Figured out some secret key combination that opened a debug menu that was very entertaining to explore.

As a kid I would obsess over these "Data Bank" organizers while looking at catalogs in the mail. Here is a great website with a large collection of them. old-organizers.com
