@NerdyProgramme2 @tannerlinsley how much slower? the search validation needs to be executed, so it's to be expected somewhat. but shouldn't be noticeable. if it is, a reproducer to look in would be helpful

i just realized that in tanstack router, routes with searchParams are a little bit slower during navigation than ones without searchParams. this is normal right? or am i doing something wrong cc @tannerlinsley

@davis7 Are remote functions stable by now? I was hyped and happy about them but since they are in an „experimental state“ forever I have switched all my apps to tanstack 😵‍💫

The main difference is you don't bring your own CF account. Resources are auto provisioned and managed by Void. This is all-in Cloudflare because that is what makes the DX possible. The cool thing about building Void is that I didn’t need to change a single thing about Vite. Void is a plugin that wraps Cloudflare’s Vite plugin - which in turn builds on top of Vite Environment API. And it just composes with frameworks that ship as a Vite plugin, the smoothest being TanStack Start. “Everything is a Vite plugin” in action.

Switched from Next.js, Vercel, to @tan_stack & @Cloudflare after 10k MAU. Reasons: 1. TanStack → better SEO via selective SSR + CDN → can serve 100M pages cheaply 2. Client-first speed is critical. Server-first → just a blog might as well let AI scrape + query ChatGPT

@wiesson @markusdd5 ID.4 wird zum ID. Tiguan umbenannt, also ist ein ID. Passat nicht allzu unwahrscheinlich. Aber der Passat hat ja auch zumindest in Deutschland eine lange Tradition und somit ähnliche Probleme wie beim ID. Golf. Mal abwarten.

No offense aber das liest sich wie so ne Ausstattungsliste die ich 2014-16 erwartet hätte. Nicht 2026.

@trampeltierr @markusdd5 Ja, ok. Für mich als Außenstehenden sprechen die Fahrzeuge eine ähnliche Nutzergruppen an. Auch ID.7 vs. Passat? Kommt dann der Passat ID.? Ich frag mich, warum das alles so lange dauert und warum nicht einfach der Gold / Polo / ... etc als elektrische Variante kommt und fertig

@wiesson @markusdd5 Hä? Das sind zwei verschiedene Modelle, ID. Polo ist deutlich kleiner als ID.3. ID. Golf kommt, aber erstmal nur Facelift und statt "Golf 9" (Golf 8 als letzter Verbrenner angekündigt). ID.3 sieht halt zu anders aus und vermutlich wollte man auch das Golf Image nicht beschädigen.
