I'm deeply sorry for delivering this news at year's end. Today we announced that iAgent is shutting down. Reading our team's message, I wanted to add something more personal. This year was very tough for me mentally. I often find myself overwhelmed by the constant feeling of anxiety, uncertainty and pressure to deliver. Sorry for not communicating with everyone personally. I keep thinking about why everything went wrong. Of course, there are many mistakes on me. I am not going to point out a single mistake or a single person, but the cascade of different things that led to this outcome. When iAgent started, I funded it with personal funds. Believe in the vision completely. In August of this year, when finances got hit hard, I began investing again in personal funds over the last months. Paying for developers and covering server costs. Though the ship had already sailed, I was naive enough to believe that I could turn it around. I'm not here looking for sympathy. I made mistakes that led to this outcome. I own them completely. Every wrong decision was mine to make or prevent. It was also very helpful to have a lot of friends who supported me throughout this process. And quite a few investors I called for advice and gave me guidance. I consider myself blessed to have those people around me. As a founder in Web3, this year taught me brutal lessons about building. About timing. About persistence versus delusion. And most importantly, it showed me who stays when things fall apart. Your circle becomes very clear very quickly. I was scared to talk about all this publicly. Failed founder stigma is real. But if sharing these hard lessons helps even one other person avoid the same mistakes, it's worth it. @jbondwagon 4) To survive and expand to general public it needs a new generation to buy the same stuff but without the reason of it being nostalgic since they dont have child memories connected to it. With NFT's you would ask yourself why would a new generation buy the old OG stuff

@jbondwagon a few things to mention or consider comparing to nfts: 1) Mainly kids/teenagers spending relative low amounts of money compared to nfts in 1999 on Pokemon Charizards, so low entry in terms of financial commitment

Charizard became your favorite Pokemon so you collected Charizard Holos in 1999… You kept it until 2025 & your collection is now worth a fortune NFTs is 1998 rn A lot of major NFTs building IPs in today’s world are not even 5yrs old. We need to give them time to build while we fervently remain fans Some points I’d like to make here: 1️⃣ Treat NFTs as collectibles. NFTs aren’t shares to a company. They’re products. They’re collectibles. They’re a badge you can show that you’re early Collectors of Charizard Holos didn’t ask Pokemon Company for shares. They just held on to their collections with pride 2️⃣ New products/collectibles released by the company does not diminish the OG’s value Pokemon released multiple new games, new cards, or new characters even. But still, it’s the OG 150 Pokemon that’s most popular today The same is true with NFTs. Our favorite NFT companies may release new products, new collectibles, & such for a new and wider market but that won’t diminish the value of the OG NFTs 3️⃣ For NFTs to take off as collectibles, they need people invested to the story, lore, & characters This is where IP building comes in. This is where the anime series, the IG and tiktok accounts, the mainstream partnerships & likes come in More people need to care about the brand first before the OG collectibles from it We have such a long way to go but I’m sitting comfy with my collectibles

The fuck is a Jirasan Genesis Role ? 🧐 TLDR : if you can’t make it through this long-ass tweet, the content probably won’t interest you anyway 😁 Just before The Merge (the consolidation of all @PGgroup_NFT collections into a single 10k collection called @JirasanOfficial), the 333 PG Genesis holders had a choice : keep their Genesis NFT for 10 Jirasan NFTs + the exclusive Genesis Role post-merge, or exchange it for 20 NFTs (at fp value equivalent before the merge) without the role post merge. By choosing the Genesis Role, they sacrificed short-term value, showing true belief in the project’s long-term vision. Today, the Genesis Role can’t simply be bought & is called Jirasama Role. The only way to have it now is to either have received it during the merge, or to hold at least 10 Jirasan NFTs and submit an application. Existing Jirasama Role holders decide if a new applicant is accepted, and only if a spot is open (e.g., if a Jirasama Role holder’s count drops below 10 NFTs, releasing the role). Having a Cosmic Jirasan NFT among the 10 NFTs can boost an applicant’s chances if multiple people are applying. Btw cosmic fp undervalued af only for this reason imo (do the math on whether you earn normal allocation with 10 NFTs for so many airdrops to come, or whether you earn x2 or more ✍️). At this time, Jirasama Role is the only premium access to Jirasan’s ecosystem, with unique utilities. Someone holding 10 NFTs with the Jirasama Role will always receive more tokens from all projects than someone with just 10 NFTs without the role. Retiring is a weird concept at a young age and it almost never happens. Sorry to spill some truth but you won’t be able to retire shit with even $20M 😂 Think about it; You need to retire your parents and as you have 8 figs they already started asking for more. So you have to buy them a minimum $2-3M house & $1-2M cars / give or provide them enough money to enjoy their lives freely. Mom, dad and a brother. You give them each $10k (let’s say) monthly for them to kinda enjoy their lives and really “retire” them. Let’s say for minimum 20 years you’ll provide for them. So you are already down around $10M to retire your parents for the next 20 years. 🤝🏻 Now move to yourself. You need a good house & car too. Another $5-6M houses & car. You already made 8 figs so spending less than $25k monthly would make you feel stupid after all these efforts. Another $10M down to the sink. You don’t have your own children yet. If you decide to have a kid, you need to spare at least another $5M for his/her needs for minimum 20 years 🤷🏼‍♀️ You are already in debt… Unfortunately, to retire all your family, you need minimum +$50M to start with. Other than that, you can “financially support” them. Don’t forget the fact that when you make 8 figs yourself, you won’t be willing to accept less. Because you spend your time / health and many other things just to make them happy. In the meantime, you have to be happy too. It won’t be easy to provide them less when you enjoy in first class flights because they would think you are an asshole. $20M is a rookie number. People don’t realize how you mostly start living a luxurious life when you hit a certain amount. You don’t want to fly economy anymore for long ass flights. You don’t want to be bothered by stupid ass people. So you spend money for your comfort. Also people always want more, so every 4-5 years you have to change your parent’s cars etc etc. If you fly first class, you can’t let them fly in economy. Boom. You are already so fricking poor. Being fully financially responsible for someone is not as easy as you think. Because luxury and spending money have no limits. You can even end up feeling poor as fuck after making 8 figures. Don’t give up until you make minimum $50M. The world is not cheap nor your family’s wants and needs. Trust me 🤷🏼‍♀️

It’s a perfect way to polish your pitch as a founder and get feedback but also hone your ability to respond to questions on the “fly” ✈️ Some of the best feedback and experiences in raising money and talking to investors for my ventures has been those pitch sessions. Most importantly it’s the questions you don’t have the answer to and makes you think. Many times that reframes your context by learning how others perceive your team / market / idea. For example when we were raising money for @acompli (18mo later acquired by @Microsoft) one investor who passed made it clear our approach of mobile first wouldn’t lead to enterprise deals. This pushed us as founders to try to validate that early. We did and signed a 7 figure deal in the first year with the federal government to power mobile email for two 3-letter agencies. Felt good to land that deal but more importantly was a key differentiator in separating us from the more than 50 other “mobile email” apps. Today Acompli lives on as @Outlook mobile.
