@enterprisecares why bother being a member or make a reservation? Made mine 3 weeks ago. And not being honored. Really sucks.

@EdwardKRyan @TheFederalist46 @guncontroltakes nothing less manly than some dude calling a woman a “cunt”. It’s always means you don’t have access to one. And last I looked, you need a license for a car. You need to be at least 16 and there are pretty strong regulations about car safety. You sad little boy.
English

@TheFederalist46 @guncontroltakes @wildhairedshrew exactly - punishing a 3rd party is akin to arresting me because my neighbor beats his wife and claiming "well you have fists too"
English

Sorry Julie, it doesn't work that way. If you choose to use the event as a tool for political change and to strip other's rights you can't use it as a shield.

@LarryScott_Jr @fred_guttenberg Hey Lar, your kid murdered? No? Sit down and STFU.
English

@CriticalReader7 @AmyGuterman @fred_guttenberg I didn’t defend money, I explained money and pointed out the flaws in your argument. You have a comprehension issue. Also, coordination is a legal term in campaigns. It is illegal to coordinate with Super PACs. No campaigns coordinate.
English

@wildhairedshrew @AmyGuterman @fred_guttenberg You know the law cold. I’m telling you the facts on the ground: $30M in, and the candidate refusing it is the small-donor one. Law and facts point the same way here.
English

In other words, Mehdi Hassan is funded by Qatar.
It amazes me that these talking heads are out here complaining about AMERICANS contributing to a PAC that supports our ally Israel, while they are literally taking $ from a foreign country.
Fred Guttenberg@fred_guttenberg
They are literally the equivalent of NRA TV and as far as I am concerned, Mehdi Hassan is the equivalent of Dana Loesch. The day I realized she and others from NRA media weren't worth my time, and focused only on what I wanted to say, was a great day. Done doing back and forth with well paid progressive trolls.
English

@CriticalReader7 @AmyGuterman @fred_guttenberg First, stop making assumptions. I barely know who is running in Michigan. I know money in politics and the law. Second, I meant to mention the but g election thing doesn’t work if you are using the guy who back Haley as an example (you did).
English

@wildhairedshrew @AmyGuterman @fred_guttenberg Now, super PACs have formed around him too. Difference is he’s refused to coordinate with them and built the campaign on small donors, while Stevens has welcomed $30M in outside money. Same principle, opposite postures. Why do you support billionaire money backed Stevens?
English

@CriticalReader7 @AmyGuterman @fred_guttenberg Sure. I am not a citizens united gal. I understand the SCOTUS argument on free speech, but not a fan of unregulated money in campaigns.
English

@wildhairedshrew @AmyGuterman @fred_guttenberg The reason I named UDP is that it’s the biggest one operating in these specific primaries, but the rule is the rule regardless of who it benefits. Can you say the same?
English

@CriticalReader7 @AmyGuterman @fred_guttenberg But what about the progressive millionaire? Those super PACs spend too. So you can condemn those super PACs too?
English

@wildhairedshrew @AmyGuterman @fred_guttenberg Billionaire money shouldn’t pick party nominees. And your first post agrees ‘they don’t like the candidates.’ Exactly. That’s the problem!!
English

@CriticalReader7 @AmyGuterman @fred_guttenberg DUDE. AiPAC isn’t the biggest funder in these primaries. And I did address your pointing out Jews. You have to deal in Facts. You just don’t like my fact based answers (and 30 years of experience, but I guess we don’t listen to women or female expertise)
English

@wildhairedshrew @AmyGuterman @fred_guttenberg But the structural objection stands on its own: Republican billionaires (Koum, Marcus, Singer) bankrolling the biggest outside spender in Democratic primaries would be an objection if it were oil money too. Five replies, and those three names still unaddressed.
English

@CriticalReader7 @AmyGuterman @fred_guttenberg You want it to be that “AIPAC” and “billionaire” Jews are buying a primary in Michigan. Where as the biggest players here are Democrats who don’t want the progressive who can’t win a General to win a primary. Which in political terms is called sanity.
English

@CriticalReader7 @AmyGuterman @fred_guttenberg And AIPAC isn’t even the largest super pac in these races. You should really do more research if you claim (as you do) to be fact based.
English

@CriticalReader7 @AmyGuterman @fred_guttenberg Israel. You don’t complain about the entities spending MORE because you like them. It isn’t rocket science.
English

@CriticalReader7 @AmyGuterman @fred_guttenberg No. You are skewing things my friend. I said AIPAC isn’t a pac. It isn’t. I do think all federal dollar PACs are grassroots. They are. Individual donors making contributions of less than 5k. Super PACs are different. They are. You complain about AIPAC because it is pro
English

@CriticalReader7 @AmyGuterman @fred_guttenberg Leaving one country that Jews can live freely (oh wait and LGBTQ+ people too) in the region but because they are in the news no one pays attention to the other places that spend money (looking at u Qatar). I mean just an example.
English

@CriticalReader7 @AmyGuterman @fred_guttenberg I believe I just did, but for a recap. There is 1 pro Israel super pac in the top 15 super PACs. There are at least 4 progressive/liberal Super PAC - including the top 2. It is almost like most countries in the MENA region have expelled their Jewish citizens
English

@CriticalReader7 @AmyGuterman @fred_guttenberg And! There are plenty of Dem ones that are (trumpy ones too, but let’s not go down that ridiculous road). You should note, while it is in the top 15 so are 2 labor unions and at least one progressive super pac.
English

@CriticalReader7 @AmyGuterman @fred_guttenberg Hey guess what, you are not right. What I was saying is, that the pac you refer to got contributions from over 100k individual donors giving 5k a year or less. It isn’t complicated - albeit people never understand FEC regulations. That is how the PAC raises money.
English

@CriticalReader7 @AmyGuterman @fred_guttenberg That same pac, can not donate more than 5k per candidate per election. Also, the regulation. Follow along if you would. NOW, Super PACs are different. And while you might complain about the AiPAC affiliated super pac note - it isn’t even in the top 10 super PACs.
English

@sharinfl @AmyGuterman @fred_guttenberg No that is illegal. Only one. They are affiliated with a super pac - you know, like AOC and Bernie too.
