Weird assumption going on here. What's to say that private school kids will qualify to get into grammar schools? When you move from a world governed by wallet size to one based on ability, a lot of people won't be making the transition.

Unless Labour develops some actual policies to deal with the crises we face, Prime Minister Keir Starmer will end up the most hated man in Britain

This is quite shocking. Yes the Y Axis needs to start at 0. But this is kids aged 13-19 in the US. Lots of stories here. Phones and the internet, yes. But also more to it. But what?

The young arent driving, fucking, and drinking because high energy activity is fundamentally incompatible with modern ethics. If you're always told to be harmless (but also guilty!) then your innate will to power withers. You vegetate. Man, the greatest animal, turned to plant

Jeremy Corbyn wanted to lift all working class people. Keir Starmer wants to lift about 20% and then tell the other 80% they only have themselves to blame for not wanting it more. One of them is Labour. The other is Tory.

Everywhere I go, the story is the same. Londoners are being ignored. People are being forgotten by a Mayor who no longer cares. When I’m Mayor, that will end. You will be listened to. Your priorities will be my priorities.

Owen Jones was right about one thing. Many of those who backed a genocide are now going to pretend they didnt. But we all saw you and we will NEVER forget.

Watching #Panorama talk about immigrant care workers is infuriating. Framed as if its a necessity because they can't get British workers. The reason they can't get the workers if because the pay and conditions have been trashed by endless immigrants and now Brits won't do it.

I've been informed Starmer is heading for a landslide Labour don't need the left We have a great opportunity to vote accordingly to our heads, our hearts, and our sense of mortality and justice That means not voting for the fascist Starmer.

The campaign to unseat Starmer and reseat Corbyn should be almost number 1 priority for the left. Imagine the political fallout if Labour win but Starmer loses his seat and Corbyn wins his. All the left should canvass in Holborn and St Pancras for Feinstein. All of it.

That was a shockingly poor interview with Owen Jones, @lewis_goodall. I listen to every NewsAgents, few have left me as angry. Why? You just let this peevish, self regarding, Peter Pan of politics run his mouth off without serious challenge. Not good enough. I am disappointed.

This is why I am proud to be British! OTD 1807 our great nation stepped up to illuminate the path of goodness as a global force for good. William Wilberforce - a legendary hero of freedom - a legacy of determined perseverance for the victory of good or evil. 🇬🇧🇬🇧🇬🇧🇬🇧🇬🇧
Colin Bloom CBE@ColinBloom

217 years ago today, in 1807, the British passed the Slave Trade Act making it illegal to buy and sell slaves in the British Empire. The U.K. was the first country to do this, and it was largely possible because of the efforts of William Wilberforce.
