About the national census... There are actually very few food-related questions in the 2026 Census itself. Most of Canada’s food insecurity and affordability data comes from separate Statistics Canada surveys, not the census. But by law, every household still needs to complete the census. Canadians have until tomorrow, May 12, to submit it — or risk fines of up to $500 under the Statistics Act.

@wildwheelz @ryangerritsen I agree Darin, very disrespectful to walk on a Veteran flag or memorial. Put up a wreath, flags on posts, free coffee and food, but no cross walk. I would feel like I walk on a memorial for dead soldiers that lost their lives for this country.

@CScottHines Alberta wants to leave Canada. In order to trigger a referendum to separate they need 177,000 signatures in 90 days (down from prev 600k threshold). There's 5M living in Alberta so there's a good chance this happens. I hope it does... the East always decides the West's fate!

After 4 days in Tokyo, there are 2 things I miss: a bench & a trash can. There is literally no place to rest except the floor/ground. After walking all day, its difficult not to have a place to just sit for a couple mins. You must take your trash w/ you, unless u are in a cafe.
