@gbtangus Yeah there's been work on that. But SCIC still has older deadlines. We usually plant 3rd week of Sept. We have done trials seeding up to end of Oct and it still worked.

Today we seeded winter wheat and fall rye variety trials, harvested barley and canaryseed, and prepped for more seeding tomorrow.

@sf28430 Since late 1990s we’ve tilled the entire farm possibly twice.
Started seeding with 1 inch points in mid 80’s and switched to coulter openers in mid 90’s
I’ll quit before I go back to tillage

Another dead Raven Viper Pro stripped to bits on the healing bench. The +5V power rail to the power switch wasn't making contact to pull a ground. Corrosion from cab humidity. One new $0.68 switch and some cleaning should fix it up. These should have been sealed switches.
