Last day in office for my CMO position at Solar Pros. I’m grateful to all the amazing friends and colleagues I got to work with. I’ve had incredible highs, the ability to execute on ten+ of million of dollars in marketing spend, incredible trips to Hawaii, Costa Rica, Mexico, Bahamas, and all over the great 50 states of America. It was not an easy decision, leaving a long held position never is. I’m excited for the incredible work I’ll get to do at @aeuixdzn and all the amazing brands I’ll be able to serve.

Custom brand tools feel like the most compelling slice of AI right now Working on a technical logo for a client, got tired of endlessly resizing a bunch of lil' rectangles. So I built a tool to play with variations and animate it, of course

This is one of those design / marketing moments where I just scratch my head. There are huge readability & brand issues. - Different color green - The green is too dark against the black - disco ball texture looks pixelated on a tiny phone screen A kinda dumb mistake.

Can anyone who creates and sells fonts talk me through the logic of this kind of pricing? > Font has a base price (cool) > Using it on social media gets more expensive the more followers you have? (huh?) > Using it on a website gets more expensive the more page views you have? (tf?) I'm pretty clueless about the font selling game but wouldn't your font (that they paid for anyway) being used by someone with 1M+ FOLLOWERS and on their site with 1M+ monthly views BENEFIT you? It's like free marketing right? I saw this specific font being used on a website and wanted to purchase it myself, so?
