@blazingb00mrang @ChrisRGun That's interesting you say that. In my experience I would say 2 for vibes, characters, atmosphere. 3 for moment to moment gameplay. Tales is absolutely correct for story though.

@isthatvark I don’t think the way you view this is wrong tbh. I just specifically think that saying nothing is changing is wrong. Because a lot changes it just doesn’t affect a lot of our direct life’s cause a good majority of us have roofs over our head and don’t worry about the next meal

@GermanStrands I'd give it a solid 9. I'm not sure how I feel about the open-world stuff. It throws off the pacing a little. I just played the Junon stuff and it shines in those moments.

@dark1x This makes you sound jealous and is lame. I'd agree it does suck it's what does well on YouTube, but it is what it is. Also, I guarantee an editor titled the video and he had nothing to do with it.

It's just him sitting in front of a mic talking about nonsense for two hours. That is a ZERO EFFORT VIDEO that barely qualifies as work. Yet it's gonna make infinitely more money than any of us that spent weeks meticulously crafting a videos. He is the opposite of 'cancelled'

Why do people use the word 'cancel' to describe situations in which such a thing did not occur? He said something people disagreed with (I too thought it was dumb) and people discussed it. I've dealt with that stuff too when I said dumb stuff. That's not being 'cancelled'.

@Gameonysus I get what you're saying. Sword and Shield were fine traditional style Pokémon games, I just think people were expecting more from the first mainline entries on the switch. Not to mention, a lack of post-game for more hardcore fans.

Remember how good Arceus secretly was only for Scarlet and Violet to come out and be so bad it turned previous haters into Sword and Shield stans. Note: I always loved Sword and Shield. Y’all were tripping.

@Gameonysus When I was a kid I would just hand my controller to my brother. The riku battle near the end feels like luck because the camera is so bad. A tip that makes the game way easier is to use tinker bell whenever you can. She auto heals and doesn't take away donald and goofy.

@HollowPoiint I really loved it, that being said I do feel like the side-quest where lackluster. Maybe this is a poor comparison, but I wish it matched the side quest in something like Arkham City and Knight

I finally finished Spider-Man 2: Mini-review and impressions. (My opinion of course) Insomniac Games just simply understood their role and the importance of this game. They've officially set the new standard for what it takes to make a fun, impactful and successful superhero video game. Just about every episode I sat down to play had something new and refreshing, I cannot recall a moment where I got bored or felt like a mission dragged on for too long or even seemed pointless to its story progression. Spider-Man 2 feels Blockbuster rich and you really see that towards the final hours of the game. Resources for this one were well spent lol. The characters we're written incredibly well, their stories had purpose and meaning to the evolution of Insomnia's Spider-Man universe. The Balance between Peter and Miles was also a joy to expereince highlighting both their struggles and importance in this story. MJ was very much involved and the team did some really great stuff for her- MJ missions we're much better this time around. Harry also has some really good moments of his own here. The build-up and anticipation for Venom's arrival was pure perfection and man... IT DELIVERED. This is the best version of Venom that we have seen in A LONG time (movies included lol). Everything from the design, to the voice acting and beyond (which you should really play till the end to see for yourself.) Main story was roughly 10-12 hours to complete with TONS of side quests to do in between or after main story completion. Some including familiar Spider-Man characters. As you know, many suits to unlock as well as upgrades, gadgets, skills and etc.. Spider-Man is yet another good example that games dont need to be 50 hours long in story to be good. Its always better to finish a game wanting more than not. IMO FOR ME - anywhere from 10-15 maybe 20 hours max is the sweet spot. (Only RDR2 has been able to keep stuck to my seat for 40+ hours) I'd love to get a new Miles Morales game then Spider-Man 3.. or at least some DLC. This was great stuff. If you played and enjoyed Spider-Man PS4 or Miles Morales. This one is MUST PLAY. Something like this does not get made without true passion and hard work. Easily My game of the year 2023.
