@cancanlane I don’t have a problem with his acquisitions based on the roster he took on. Again, at this point I’m assuming they are prepared to blow it up. So why give up assets before doing that?

This is not on Scott Perry, but I will say this, the way they went about the offseason it feels like they have to fire-sale at the deadline. They would’ve been more aggressive with the moves they made if that wasn’t the plan.

He tried. He traded up in the draft to get Nique Clifford. He pursued Kuminga. Repeatedly tried to move Monk & Carter. Not his fault the entire league was scared money this summer. And it wouldn't have changed the reality that the Kings need to get through two seasons before cap space opens up.
