My joke of a :timeline" right now in the order I see things: -2 hours old -1 day old -47 seconds old -2 days old Fuck chronological order apparently. @X , this is bullshit.

@EODHappyCaptain We had a cancer in our unit until last year, God's Gift, could do no wrong, etc. He was THE information silo. Wouldn't share at any time, with anyone. Fucked up a lot of potentially good things/people, and fucked over a LOT more. Not bitter, but when I see him again...Well.

When I was going through EOD school, the instructors would tell us that when we got out to the field and started working it wasn’t our job to tell people what we were doing on scene. “Just tell them you’re doing EOD procedures. They don’t need to know the specifics” What I found after many incidents is that the more information I provided to the supported unit the better the relationship, and the reports, got. When information wasn’t provided, they would often make up things to fill out reports which could be problematic down the road for other units. Sharing information is a good thing.

Larson dental Clinic, Fort Carson. 4ID soldiers in the field testing, integrating NGC2 equipment and trying to complete dental. Dental clinic refuses to make appointments and provides a 2 hour block for walk-ins. "Majority of soldiers complained about it during the SRP rodeo for the upcoming NTC rotation and the provider was in denial. Soldiers leave requests are getting denied because of the nonsense of not being green on MEDPROS. Soldiers are forced to sit outside hours in advance just to hopefully be seen. And yes the line wraps around the corner of the building."

Everything old is new again. Dazzle camouflage was first used in World War I; rather than hiding something, the purpose of Dazzle is to make it harder to determine heading/range/speed.
