Some devastating new to share with you, I’ve not mentioned it but my stepdad / dad has been fighting cancer for the last 8 months or so He lost that battle this morning He was a wonderful, kind man who made my mum and our family so happy and the world is worse without him

I think the reason not to do it now is that he IS picking up results. It was six wins from seven before last night. And I think six or seven wins from the last nine would be enough to secure CL football. We are going to have to watch this dross until at least the summer.

It’s already the greatest transfer window I’ve ever seen a Premier League club have. If they get Guehi in, it’s beyond perfect. Liverpool aren’t flying yet and they’re already 9 from 9. Once they click, around Jan, with these additions, they’ll be a frightening football team.

@adamrowecomedy We invest so much emotion into our clubs it’s understandable they feel that way but like you say, when the dust settles it doesn’t benefit them! They could have £80-90m plus Elliot for example and go sign Wissa two decent players rather than no one!

The most common answer to the Isak situation from Newcastle fans seems to be to let him rot for three years. I get that emotional inclination, it was kind of how I viewed the Coutinho situation. Not sure it makes it very easy to sign any rising stars in the coming years though.
