Welcome to Bangladesh... oh wait, sorry, this is India. This is the condition of one of India's largest and busiest railway stations, Pt. Deen Dayal Upadhyay Junction, Uttar Pradesh. The BJP is in power both at the Centre and in the state, so I'm wondering what's stopping the authorities from cleaning up this mess. P.S. I've filed multiple complaints about this, but it seems @DRM_DDU is too busy building retirement corpus to pay attention :)

#Chaand Song no 29 Shart 1954 The song was beautifully rendered by the legendary Lata Mangeshkar and Hemant Kumar. Hemant Kumar was also the music director for the film, and the poetic lyrics were written by S.H. Bihari. The song features on-screen stars Shyama and Deepak, capturing the innocence and charm of 1950s Bollywood romance.

The Pune–Daund–Baramati DEMU, meant to serve thousands of daily commuters, has become a source of constant inconvenience. Unpredictable delays and recurring technical failures are affecting students, employees, and businesspersons who rely on this service every day. I urge Hon’ble Railway Minister @AshwiniVaishnaw to take immediate cognizance of this matter and ensure corrective action so that commuters receive the dependable rail service they deserve. @RailMinIndia

Leonhard Euler (1707–1783) was a Swiss mathematician, physicist, and astronomer who is considered one of the greatest mathematicians of all time. He was born in Basel, Switzerland, and studied under the famous mathematician Johann Bernoulli. Euler made important contributions to many fields of mathematics, including calculus, number theory, geometry, and graph theory. He introduced several mathematical symbols and notations that are still used today, such as e for the base of natural logarithms and f(x) for functions. One of his most famous achievements was solving the Seven Bridges of Königsberg problem, which led to the development of graph theory. Despite becoming nearly blind later in life, Euler continued to produce a remarkable amount of mathematical work. He published more than 800 papers and books and greatly influenced the development of modern mathematics. Euler died in Saint Petersburg, Russia, in 1783, leaving a lasting legacy in science and mathematics...

A Swiss hotel once displayed a list of special rules exclusively for Indian guests which I personally saw and was appalled. Today, videos of garba in restaurants, loud conversations in airports, and turning aircraft cabins into picnic spots keep doing the rounds. Even in Davos, an Indian businessman blasted Punjabi music in a club so the whole town could hear it, calling it “soft power” but to everyone’s annoyance. Japan earned global admiration through their courtesy and civic sense. If India wants to be a true global superpower, the world should remember Indians for its excellence, consideration and respect for others. Our civic sense seriously needs to be upgraded.

India has and needs traditional home architecture instead of ACs. Modern concrete homes need AC, not the homes built with traditional wisdom and materials. And India thrives in those homes for thousands of years.
Balu Gorade@BaluGorade

AC penetration in developed countries is 80-100%. In India, it's still below 7-8%. Given our climate, AC is a necessity for many, not a luxury. But millions of Indians still can't afford an AC or the electricity bill that comes with it.
